A very low key comment.

There is an inexplicable force here in Alabama you don't want to cross paths with.

We have a former governor who bumped up against it. A giant casino operator who ran afoul.

And now a local blogger.

Let's just call him, "He who shall not be named," but this is some scary shit!

Good News for Hillary!

Feeling hog-tied and gerrymandered? Good news!

From Alabama (yes, Alabama!) news service:

Hillary Clinton has made her presidential plans official and as it turns out, she may have reason to smile.

A recent Pew Research poll shows more people in the U.S. call themselves Democrats than Republicans. Overall, 48 percent of those polled said they consider themselves Democrats as opposed to 39 percent who said they are Republican.

And while President Obama has faced poor approval ratings, those feelings apparently don't translate to the general electorate. The 10-point Democratic advantage is about the same as in 2012 when Obama defeated Mitt Romney to win a second term.

Final Round of the Masters, Tiger Still In It!

Tied for 5th place, Tiger should finish at least in the a top 10, utterly unexpected by the golf world.

CBS begins coverage at 2:00 ET, 1:00 Central.

For you non-fans, this will probably delay "60 Minutes" so check your DVRs!

Tiger makes it to Moving Day at the Masters!

It has been said, possibly by Mark Twain, that golf is "a pleasant walk ruined."

On what would be the weekend story of the remarkable return of the legendary Tiger Woods, Spieth shatters records for 2 days and Tiger is a footnote.

We'll see, the gods of golf are fickle in the long run. Maybe Tiger is working his way out of the desert? 5 more majors to secure his status as greatest golfer of all time.

CBS picks up coverage this afternoon. Until then, the Masters will be live streamed again today. There are lots of complaints about how the Master tournament avoids televising the complete rounds of the best golfers in the world.

Todays schedule at www.masters.com! Tiger and his good friend Sergio Garcia tee up at (all times Eastern) 1:15. Spieth and Hoffman, last pairing, 2:15. Pair to watch - Bubba Watson and Rory McIlroy just ahead of Tiger.

Featured Groups streaming today include "Featured Group 1 Watson/McIlroy" @ 2:30 and "Featured Group 2 Woods/Garcia" @ 3:00, beginning streaming each group when the previous featured group completes their round. Spieth/Hoffman will be featured last, probably @ 4:00.

CBS coverage begins at 3:00, 2:00 CT.

Round 2 for Tiger!

Friday 10:30 EST tee time.

Still in the hunt with a 1 over round Thursday.

If he can stay on the fairways, out of the hazards, and chip and putt like the old Tiger...well, this could be something! He looked a little rusty, but played well for it. Still has the fire!

This looks good!

Tiger Woods back at the Masters!

The only reason I have ever watched golf.

Tee time at 1:48 EST. Yes, they backed it up for afternoon TV coverage.

What if...?
