And this looks quite interesting as well. Be hard to top the first, though.

If the words on the page can do for Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch and Colin Farrell what Season 1 gave us in Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, we are in for a treat.

If the cinematography is the same quality, it will be great, an additional character.

HBO is onto something here, they usually give it a good run!

Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
The Wire
Weeds
BBC's Sherlock
Fargo
BBC's Game of Cards as the US version is good but not nearly as good as the Brit's.
Monty Python's Flying Circus
Dexter (the first couple of seasons as once Debra knows his secret, it's a fall off of a skyscraper. I don't think she's a very good actress and certainly can't handle the greater show's exposure)

Honorable Mention as just season 1 was aired but Twin Peaks for JUST season 1 (the jelly eating cops' scene was classic)
Firefly
Twin Peaks (Oh how they killed the show after Season 1)

I loved MASH but the production values and laugh track don't make for great TV.

Something to do with the interstate system north/south in California?

Remember "Chinatown"? Very creepy what the idle rich can do in their spare time. Like Durst.

The Season 1 Louisiana case with all the missing and cover ups was based on a true crime story, and there are amazing explanations of the season on the internet, not just philosophically but politically and historically.

Season 1 just keeps giving.

And the music! Phenomenal bands and songs.

That, plus season one, of course.

I'm gonna hate it if the premium channel package with HBO hikes up (you know they do that every few years!)

Probably at the end of the "Game of Thrones" 10-show run.

Gotta keep those HBO subscriptions going.

Always a Harrelson fan but this transformation of McConaughey into this dark character is fascinating. I never knew what a fine actor he is.

MM and WH are unexpectedly great in this program, and the story and production backs them beyond belief.

And it doesn't have to end at the final episode. There is a 'rabbit hole' you can go down which leads from one thing to another to another...you can follow it like a detective!

at one of my favorite houses not too far from me. Sadly, I hear it was some kind of orgy scene...yuk, poor house. That being said, it will be hard to beat season 1. I think I've watched it about five times so far.

intrigued! That sounds very demonic!

I'm sure no house was harmed during the production of this feature. It's probably a legal thing. Add smiley here.
