Final Round of the Masters, Tiger Still In It!

Tied for 5th place, Tiger should finish at least in the a top 10, utterly unexpected by the golf world.

2. There are so many stories.

We all know David Duval, threatened Woods for many years. Sometimes, we are victims of the times we live in. Woods was such a unique golfer, no telling how he affected all of his competition. His game sucked the oxygen out of the room.

Duval won one Major. Woods won 14, and we remember Duval as a threat. At another time, Duval might have been legendary.

3. Woods is gonna need to tear up the back nine to make it back into the top ten

Totally lackluster play on the front nine. To his credit, he didn't crash and burn.

5. Didn't hit the fairway on any of 1st 9 holes.

But he did hit a tree root, and is pretty twisted up.

That first tee shot, onto the wrong fairway, he never recovered.

One of the reasons I have always hated to watch golf, is how can you be a professional golfer and not hit the fairway? Tiger missed 9 in a row! And counting!

He is now at 2-over for the day, and counting.

9. Interesting how no one investigated that...lots of these sorts of things

"sports journalists" turn a blind eye to...why? Because people like Tiger get you better ratings and therefore more money...it's always about money.

10. It was broadcast.

He was in pine straw with rock hard bed ground, and hit into the dirt and caught a root.

He is not limping. He is 39, been playing at the highest level of a very physical game for over 2 decades. He has had injuries, surgeries, changed his entire swing motion in an attempt to come back and finish his long range goals...

11. Tiger gets an eagle in 13!

Hits the fairway, puts it all together, nails the putt - old Tiger looks like the Tiger of old, as they say on CBS (cha-ching for the jaded cynics).
