BIG sales on discounted pot in CA this weekend.

Six months after California made recreational marijuana use legal, the so-called "Weed Apocalypse" arrives this weekend, as tight state regulations going into effect on Sunday have dispensaries scrambling to unload non-compliant product.

But while the deadline is giving pot shop owners headaches, it is creating an opportunity for consumers. They are already anticipating deep discounts on their favorite marijuana products on what has been dubbed "Green Saturday" - for the color of cannabis - and for black market dealers.
"There's going to be a lot of massive sales, a lot of retails fire-selling a lot of products," said Nick Danias, manager of The Pottery cannabis dispensary in mid-city Los Angeles.

Families Belong Together 700+ protests tomorrow!

Donald Trump and his administration have cruelly separated thousands of children from their families. Now they're jailing families -- and they haven't yet reunified the families already brutally torn apart.

But we won't allow it to continue. On June 30, we're rallying in Washington, D.C., and around the country to tell Donald Trump and his administration to permanently end the separation of kids from their parents. End family internment camps. End the "zero-humanity" policy that created this crisis. And reunify the children with their parents.

Trump and his administration have been systematically criminalizing immigration and immigrants, from revoking Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) to ramping up intimidating ICE tactics.

Join us on June 30 to send a clear message to Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress: Families Belong Together! Spread the word...RESISTANCE WORKS!

GET UP, STAND UP For Your Rights! B. Marley....

Robert Reich: Is tRump the worst president?

A brief history lesson.

INDIVISIBLE has a strategy to resist SCOTUS reimagining by tRump.

You may have seen this on Rachel Maddow two nights ago. We have done this before (with the ACA) and it can be done again!
We have the winning strategy. Now, here’s how we do it.
Call. Show up. Call again. This is our bread and butter as a movement, and how we most effectively put pressure on our Senators. Each and every senator needs to hear from their constituents. Indivisibles in Alaska, Indiana, Maine, North Dakota, and West Virginia: your Senators are key votes in this fight. We need to let both Republicans and Democrats know that a ‘yes’ vote on Trump’s nominee is politically toxic, and it’ll follow them for the rest of their careers. Use our resource and call script to prepare, and then make your call. We’ve set up a toll-free number at 1-844-778-3056. Use it. Share it. Keep. On. Calling.

Your Senators will be on recess beginning today, until July 8. They’ll be home for a week working from their district offices and they’ll be at 4th of July parades, town halls, and barbeques. Read up on our resource to use these local public events to get facetime with your Senators.

Commit to volunteer to target voters in our five target states to flip the Senate -- AZ, MS, NV, TN, and TX. Indivisibles are e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e, and they’re already working to take back power and flip the Senate. And the stakes have never been higher. Are you ready to get to work? Sign up and commit to volunteer now. We’re building out a national phonebank to begin reaching progressive voters in these deep red states.

We continue fighting across different issues, our advocacy is linked by a common cause. The Trump administration does not serve the will of the people, and we have a moral imperative to use our power to demand our leaders listen to us -- or else, we elect ones who will.
We’re fighting to save American democracy. Let’s do this.

IF Rosenstein/Mueller is fired...NATIONWIDE PROTESTS IMMED.!

MARCH FOR TRUTH—an organization that is working with dozens of advocacy groups to organize rapid response protests has partnered with MoveOn.org, Public Citizen, Indivisible and many others to prepare emergency ‘Nobody is Above the Law‘ rallies that will happen directly following the firing of the special counsel should it occur. There are already events in 900+ cities and communities scheduled across the country—more than 300,000 people are prepared to take to the streets within hours of an announcement.

By firing Mueller or Rosenstein, the president would trigger a full-fledged constitutional crisis by asserting that he is above the law. The hours following the firing will determine whether he is proved right.
NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW! We must save our country from the W House.

MARCH FOR TRUTH! Spread the word. RESIST! REMOVE! Peace.

Schumer introduces bill to decriminalize pot federally.

Sen. Chuck Schumer has introduced a new bill to decriminalize and regulate marijuana at the federal level.

The legislation, which the New York Democrat announced back in April, would remove marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act, where it is classified among drugs such as heroin and LSD.
By striking marijuana from the act, Schumer's office said in a news release Wednesday, the bill would effectively decriminalize the drug at the federal level. The measure would still allow states to determine their own marijuana laws while maintaining federal law enforcement against trafficking to states where it is illegal.
Several states allow recreational sales of marijuana, including California, Oregon and Massachusetts.

Did tRump ever get a woman pregnant who later had an abortion

with his knowledge? Did any of his wives or children? We need a whistle blower to go to Avenatti with evidence. I guess the evangelicals would excuse him somehow.

MARCH FOR OUR LIVES summer road trip.

This summer, we’re going on a nationwide bus tour to get as many young people as possible educated, registered, and motivated to vote. It's time to turn our energy into action. Join the millions that marched for change, and march with us to the polls this summer. RESIST! Spread the word! Thanks!

1. Fund gun violence research.
We must provide the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) with dedicated funding to research gun violence as a public health issue. Even the original sponsor of the law that limits the CDC’s ability to do this research, former Congressman Jay Dickey, said that it was a mistake. More than 100 medical organizations have called on Congress to restore funding.

2. Eliminate absurd restrictions on the ATF.
The gun industry has operated with little meaningful oversight for far too long. ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives), the federal agency with jurisdiction to regulate the gun industry, has been operating with one hand tied behind its back – unable to even digitize records of gun sales – or require gun dealers to conduct annual inventory checks to make sure they aren’t missing any guns. The ATF needs to become a modern agency, one capable of keeping receipts and efficiently regulating this massive industry.

3. Universal background checks.
It is too easy for the wrong people to obtain a firearm. Right now, federal law only requires you to obtain a background check if you purchase a gun from a licensed dealer. We must close the private sale loophole and make sure all sales undergo a background check.

4. High-capacity magazine ban.
High-capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds serve only one purpose – to allow someone to shoot as many bullets as possible, in the shortest amount of time. These magazines are used in most mass shootings and need to be banned.

5. Limit firing power on the streets.
Weapons of war have no place in our communities. Our nation requires a comprehensive semi-automatic assault rifle ban that prohibits the future production and sale of these weapons and provides a solution for dealing with those semi-automatic assault rifles that are already owned, such as a buyback program or registration. Limiting...
