A quick search shows the Holocaust encyclopedia states "The Nazis claimed that German and foreign Jews were spreading “atrocity stories” to damage Germany's reputation."

So is the claim in my title evocative of Nazis, just complaining that "atrocity stories" are being used to damage Israel's reputation?

NO. This is war against Hamas. War is atrocious. Both sides can point fingers.

But, "atrocity" plays well on TV, casting one good side vs the evil empire, as if we're all watching Star Wars.

Israelis got raped, murdered, kidnapped, and tortured. NEVER AGAIN is not a conditional. And, by the way Slava Ukraini!
