We are told the plan is to Tax the rich and stop wars. Get it from the defense budget. Crap. That talk is for 60s college hippies. The reality is higher taxes for reinventing the wheel, giving to the rich along with working class, and bad prioritizing. I mean student debt comes before helping folks save their homes from foreclosure? Before childrens lunch programs? Low income family needs?
200 billion for the opioid crisis is a crisis de jour plan that sounds good, but half that amount is probably more than what is needed when rehabs are often not the answer and many states already fund Suboxone treatment and therapy. Mandate that they all do. Alcohol is still Americas number one drug problem.
