(32,720 posts)When was he at his best? I look at his 40+ year record and just don't see it. He has great, extremely ambitious ideas but the problem is, he hasn't put any thought into how to implement those ideas. Ideas alone don't make you a good president. By contrast, look at someone like Mayor Pete B. Pete also has "radical," ambitious ideas--such as abolishing the electoral college and adding justices to the supreme court, except Pete has actually put thought into how things can get done. It's not just an empty campaign slogan for him. Not only that, Pete can articulately make the case for his ideas and bring more Americans to his point of view. Sanders can't do that. His temperament is not suited for the presidency--he can't handle being challenged or asked detailed questions.
