Goodbye 2016 Postmortem (Forum) [View all]

I wish that that you could have brought about sane discussions which would have served to heal old wounds and bring Democrats of all persuasions together, more united than ever before.

But predictably, you were use to tear off the scabs of those wounds inflicted by other Democrats so that they could bleed freely again.

I despair that we will ever again be able to field a Democratic nominee for President who will be supported enthusiastically by all Democrats and progressive independents. Apparently we will never learn that whether our nominee represents the far left or a more centralist view, he or she will be be infinitely better than the GOP's offering.

All this forum proved is that we have not yet learned the the painful lessons taught by the election of despicable human being as our President. If we cannot learn from this lesson, there is little hope for us. Apparently we we would rather fight among ourselves than win national elections and advance our progressive agendas.

So rest in peace 2016 Postmortem (Forum). I will not morn you once you are gone.
