4. My best friend of 40+ years has BPD

I have lived with her (for 3+ years after she had a breakdown and couldn't work anymore), and may yet again. She is on SSDI because of her diagnosis. She is a wonderful human being who suffers greatly with her illness. Living with her can be challenging. But so can living with me, as I have several psych diagnoses of my own. I can still work, although it can be a struggle at times.
