Back to school - but no mention of masks [View all]

The nearest I can find about masks in reports of what is proposed for making all pupils in England return to school in September is that travelling on school buses will require a mask, the same as on general public transport. Well, duh. But they're going to put pupils and teachers into classrooms at their normal capacity for hours, with no more than normal ventilation (and as autumn wears on, presumably with closed windows), with nothing like 2m between them, and they apparently don't see a need for masks.

Am I the only one going WTF? I thought someone would bring it up in news reports, but I've found nothing. Not even a "this is why that wouldn't work". It might take a bit to get the youngest to follow it (mind you, those who find themselves in a uniform for the first time then might just take it as another part of that), but it's surely worth trying, and those a bit older should be able to follow it.
