...I'm willing to pay the price if he spends weeks trapped in a bed, gasping for air while fluid fills his lungs and his blood vessels clot.
For all the suffering he's caused, it would be justice.

No that's accurate, active duty military are still subject to military regulations & justice system

No. It's adjudicated through the military. If they're in a civilian context they're still military.
