We're fat, stressed, and cash-strapped to pay for hospital care, so we skip it.

That's why you work TWICE AS HARD when a potentially fatal pandemic is on the horizon. You pull out all the stops to protect your citizens. It's not an excuse when it's a well known condition.

Oh, and it's also why you don't gut the ACA.
