12. Wow. I read it right the first time. 13,332 cases of what would be pneumonia.

If they are using a CT scan then they are diagnosing pneumonia which is not a mild presentation of this infection.The virus inhibits the cilia in the airways from functioning, which helps the lungs to get rid of infection. This could be unilateral or bilateral pneumo, but this virus can progress rapidly to the patient needing O2, mech ventilation and dialysis. Not good at all. I hope that drug (remdevisir) gets mass produced and they have a vaccine asap. Of course China wants to patent the drug, even though they didn't create it. And Gilead has to allow them rather than fight it. What bullshit. Thanks Chinese govt. Maybe if you had shut down the damned markets that put people at risk this may not have happened.
