(39,215 posts)38. As long as the items not shared between Medicaid and Medicare
are included in Medicare for All. I am thinking about institutional care - Medicare pays for the first 180 days in a nursing home - after that you either pay it yourself or Medicaid pays for it if you cannot.
There is also the issue of medications (Part D?) that will need to be included. It does you no good to go to the doctor if you cannot afford the drugs the doctor tells you to take.
