Hellholes, literally.

Coincidentally, I'm reading "The Round House", by Louise Erdich of the Ojibwe tribe right now. It's a novel about an Ojibwe woman who was raped by a white man on the Ojibwe reservation in North Dakota. It's a really good story and she's a great writer.
