....is that he just goes as over the top as possible in order to get attention. Combined with a very rigid ideological outlook and near superhuman levels of arrogance it makes it inevitable that he is incapable of making any sort of valid point on any subject, although he does attract the same sort of blinkered readership as Richard Littlejohn.

As to his latest screed, it's a classic case of cutting of your nose to spite your own face. Combined with most ridiculous hyperbole imaginable it becomes hilariously bad.

As to cack blogs on the Torygraph website, there's a number of really bad ones but one who sticks out for me is Dan Hodges. Claims to be a Labour supporter but never has a kind word to say about Labour or any policy that is not supported by the Daily Telegraph.
