... A panel in Washington, D.C. will consider whether Clark should be disbarred or sanctioned in a hearing set to begin Tuesday. Clark is accused of violating legal ethics rules by lying about the 2020 presidential election in an attempt to overturn the results in favor of then President Donald Trump.
His prospective witness list includes Mark Meadows, who served as Trumps White House chief of staff, as well as Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz (Fla.) and Scott Perry (Pa). Edwin Meese, a well-known GOP lawyer who was US Attorney General in the Reagan Administration, is also on the list.
Disciplinary Counsel Hamilton Phil Fox III listed five witnesses he plans to call as part of the case against Clark. They are: Jeffrey Rosen, the former acting attorney general in the Trump administration; Richard Donoghue, Rosens acting deputy; ex-White House lawyer Patrick Philbin; and former Justice Department senior counsel Ken Klukowski. Clark is also on Foxs list of possible witnesses.
