49. In some cruel way his total incompetence may have exposed more of the country to what we knew was already going on

with fascist GOP. Many of us that have watched this game for 40 years or more and have been sounding the alarm bells are probably surprised by only one thing, that the Republicans underestimated their own greed when they let the Griftmaster play in their sandbox.

Their attempts at dismantling this experiment at the behest of the corporate oligarchy in this country were, and still are on track. But by letting this fucked up piece of shit into their inner circle they overestimated their control over the 25-30% of the hardcore racist fucks in this country that hid under their umbrella. Orange fuck blew the party apart by pulling a power play and corralling that disgusting demographic behind him. With election margins so thin because of the ongoing plan of the oligarchy to divide and conquer, in repukes eyes the only choice they had was choosing party over country so they could stay in power. They did so because they are republicans and therefore deplorable at their very core.

If TSF hadn't come along the depth of the infection already in the GOP may never have been blown open as widely as it has been and that lurid thirst for power over those not deserving could have continued to grow like black mold in the walls of a house until the entire house was consumed. I truly think we were that close, and don't be fooled we still are. The mechanisms in place and entrenched and may take many years to clean it out, but I believe we can.

With this upcoming election, with the huge blue tsunami coming, and I do believe that, that can begin to fight back these massive forces built up, wouldn't it be so Capitalistic American of us that it took a grifter on a scale PT Barnum would be astounded by, to open the eyes of enough of the masses to see what was and is lurking, ready to rip our democracy right out from underneath us. Open peoples eyes to not it can happen here but is happening here.

Yeah I'm still fucked up from the Pandemic
