Showing Original Post only (View all)Trump just announced that he is moving his business HQ from NY to FL [View all]
with intent to construct a new building at his golf course property in Jupiter.
@aronberg explains why that likely has Letitia James attention.

Former President Donald Trumps decision to build a new office in Palm Beach County is clearly a response to the civil fraud verdict in New York, but it will only happen if Barbara Jones allows it.
Barbara Jones is the retired federal judge whom Judge Arthur Engoron assigned to oversee the Trump Organizations finances in November 2022, and will remain in that position for the next three years. In her role as company babysitter, Jones has access to all of the companys books, and must be notified about any large cash transfers or dissolution of assets.
Although it looks suspicious that Trump is building a new office complex at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida, costing up to $15 million, it is not yet clear whether this is allowable, or an impermissible transfer of assets. We should know more after Mondays deadline for Trump to post an approximate $464 million bond in his civil fraud case. If Trump is unable to secure the bond, and AG James begins seizing properties and putting liens on assets, then it is likely the new office building will be disallowed.

Thank you, that makes sense, NY would need the cooperation of the state the property is located in.
Think. Again.
