Unfortunately, much of the electorate has a short selective memory. Covid, unless you lost a family member, is no longer a thing. A sharp spike in gasoline prices in October 2024 may sway more votes than memories of emoluments, mishandling of top secret documents, other outrageous and traitorous deeds.
