in the brain is not generally considered a psychiatric issue. More for the ICU/neurology team. There is also a difference between psychiatric diagnosis and commentary. When legal experts opine on a publicly reported legal concern, they are not generally accused of convicting the person in question, and their commentary is generally appreciated. Should be no different for mental health experts. The public is not given enough information from mental health experts for good decision-making about people in or running for office.
