20. The D's not cutting some type of deal to empower SOME R to be speaker (or convincing

a few R's to support Jeffries as speaker) will, without a doubt result in no action being taken at all (because it can't) in regards to President Biden's 'urgent request' for aid to Israel and Ukraine. How long should that sit in limbo? The fact that is can't be acted upon without a speaker is a fact, just like the fact you laid out. (Assuming of course that the R's continue to be unable to find there own speaker which they absolutely should)

In a matter of weeks the government will shut down without a speaker. That is a fact, just like the facts you laid out.

I suppose the D's could point and laugh with derision at the incompetence of the R's while the Congress cannot function (which would be rightly deserved) but understand there are real world consequences to that.
