8. There's no way the trial will be moved from D.C.

There are two separate issues: 1. Whether the case was properly venued in D.C. in the first place - and it was, of course, because federal crimes are required to be tried in the district where the alleged crime(s) occurred; and 2. whether the defendant can get a fair trial in that district. TFG, a racist to the core, assumes that he can't get a fair trial (and in his mind, the only "fair" trial is one that results in an acquittal) because it's likely that there will be some Black people on the jury. And, because he's a racist, he also assumes that Black people are incapable of rendering a just verdict on the basis of the evidence and the judge's instructions. Because he's a transactional and vengeful racist, he believes that his overt animus toward Black and other minority people means those people, if on his jury, would inevitably seek revenge against him by finding him guilty. On the other hand, he believes that "his" people in WVA would render the only possible "fair" verdict and acquit him - meaning they would also ignore the evidence and the judge's instructions. So he manages to insult them, too.

There's absolutely no chance he'll get a change of venue (of course not; the judge is a Black immigrant woman appointed by Black Obama!) - all of this is just red meat for his racist base.
