Black men can't attack white women in the South and get away with it. He was as aggressive as he was able to be with her. I have no idea if that will be enough or not or whether the debate will wind up being irrelevant to the outcome. But had he been more aggressive than he was, it would have mattered, a whole big bunch. We would have seen the whole angry black man thing over and over again.
