a worse flu with a President almost comatose.

We then managed to work through the greatest Depression and the Dust Bowl years in the 30's and then, with some (ahem) Japanese help, expanded our tiny military and overturned our anti-war attitude in time to win on two fronts.

A quick look at American history shows that when a real challenge shows up, we wake up and deal with it.

I have no doubt we can do it again.
