8. The play "Hamilton" really puts things into an interesting perspective...

or at least a good history lesson:

Thomas Jefferson is portrayed as a happy-go-lucky wealthy Southerner who wanted to protect the South's wealth from Hamilton's designs to get the nation out of debt due to the Revolutionary War, stressing that the reason for the accumulation of wealth was due to the profits resulting from slave labor. One problem with this type of capitalistic system has to do with stratification, where labor forces are kept oppressed. Sounds very "conservative" to me.
