Wolf's a pretty quiet, understated guy, but he and Murphy in NJ worked with the PA-based baseball uniform manufacturer to get them to switch to making PPE and masks. The state seems to be in pretty good shape with respect to supplies and hospital beds. There must be a lot going on behind the scenes, but Wolf only speaks when he has something important to say.
Peduto should get credit for shutting down the city of Pittsburgh early on even when there were no or few cv19 cases in western PA. That's probably a big reason there's not as much virus in the area, but it seemed like overreaction at the time.
Oh, and P&G has a big plant in the NE corner of the state that makes TP, paper towels and other consumer goods. But, Just Born, the company that makes "Peeps" is closed, so the "peeps" in the stores are the only ones available for awhile.
