(29,674 posts)Figure out an advertising budget from there that can reach as far. Remember,we have other expenses.
Our candidates use Facebook pages to get the word out about their campaigns. Why wouldn't we have a presence to back our candidates? Should we just leave them without a presence backing them on any social media they choose?
We receive messages every day from people asking us questions. Should we eliminate that source?
I'm not making excuses. The fact is social media permeates our lives. Sometimes it makes information gathering easier and sometimes it's for nefarious purposes. Our new guests don't attend because they saw us once at a booth or read a newspaper article. Every single one has said they came to the meeting because if something we shared on Facebook or something we Tweeted that they liked or found important. Every single one since 2016 except the retiree who moved in with his daughter found us on social media.
