114. What damage. If Sanders supporters came out in the same ratio for Clinton that Clinton supporters

Jun 2018

came out for Obama, then at least working with the fact we have, it appears that it wasn't those who most found Sander's message appealing who ended up not voting for Clinton. They came out. They came out in the same numbers that people have in the past after a hotly contested primary. Thems the facts. To try to turn this into "some sanders supporters cost us the election" while ignoring the far bigger truth, your statement is burgeoning on scapegoating.

As for who those voters were, who didnt' vote for Clinton, some were unquestionably from the far left, some very well might have been from the independent center, likely soured on Clinton for the massive amount of untrue rhetoric about the Clintons that has gotten play in right-wing media over the years. If he pulled those voters, and then they strayed back away the democratic party in the GE, well that should be no surprise and is not on Sanders.
