Why is anyone surprised by Barr's behavior at this point?
I hear legal eagles on MSNBC and CNN telling us how they can't wrap their heads around why typical lifelong GOP political figures are suddenly acting as corrupt as tRump. I do not get it, I thought I was naive or ignorant but they beat me in this area. So much for their ability to assess one's "character".
How do you make a DU poll about impeachment hearings?
Someone did it last night and I was wondering what the current opinion is. Last night it was 25 "for" and 4 "against" beginning hearings.

It does not matter what the Senate does. Also, we may lose Dem voters in 2020 for being weak for too long. We can't afford this. We can focus on issues like Climate Change and Healthcare as well as impeachment hearings.

I just called my two Dem reps and told them to start impeachment
hearings when they return from vacation. They told me they have been getting a lot of calls like mine and they really do pass our opinions onto the reps. A relative was a staffer for one in DC and told me the voters' opinions are kept.
