Video: Is Bernie Sanders sapping Clinton's energy?

"He may not be the Democratic front-runner, but Bernie Sanders is running a persistent campaign. Is Hillary Clinton's frustration building? Joel Benenson, senior strategist for the Clinton campaign, joins MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell ahead of the Wisconsin primaries to discuss. "

Sanders Could End Up Winning More NV Delegates than Clinton after Tumultuous Caucus Vote

"In a surprising reversal in Nevada, Sanders could actually end up winning the majority of Nevada delegates, even though Hillary Clinton won the first round of the Nevada caucus in February. On Saturday, Sanders won the support of 55 percent of the delegates at county-level voting. These delegates will now head to the state convention on May 14, which will determine Nevada’s final delegate count. Saturday’s county-level caucuses in Nevada were marked by turmoil, especially at the largest convention in Clark County, where Hillary Clinton’s campaign tried at the last minute to oust a top official who supports Sanders. The credentials chair staged a sit-in in the middle of the convention after the Clinton campaign accused her of sharing sensitive information with the Sanders campaign and demanded she be removed. In response, the credentials chair said the Clinton campaign was trying to change the caucus rules at the last minute and that she had only included the Sanders staffers on an email so that both campaigns would have the same information."

Hillary's 'classified' smokescreen hides real crime: Column

"Since the beginning of the Clinton email scandal, the nation has been subjected to a political and criminal defense generated smokescreen. The Clinton campaign has attempted to make the public believe that she is not guilty of anything because the information on her very unprotected server was not “marked as classified” or “classified at the time.”

The applicable statute, 18 USC 793, however, does not even once mention the word “classified.” The focus is on “information respecting the national defense” that potentially “could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation.” 793 (f) specifically makes it a crime for anyone “entrusted with … any document ... or information relating to the national defense … through gross negligence (to permit) the same to be removed from its proper place of custody.” A jury (not a Democrat or Republican political administration) is, of course, the best body to determine gross negligence on the facts of this case.

The courts have held repeatedly that “national defense information” includes closely held military, foreign policy and intelligence information and that evidence that the information is classified is not necessary for a prosecution. Evidence that the information was upon later review found to be classified, however, as is the case with approximately 2,000 Clinton messages, is of course one kind of proof that the information met the test of “national defense information” in the first place. (See U.S. v. Rosen and Weissman, 445 F. Supp. 2d 602 (E.D. Va. 2006) pertaining to a different provision but containing a good summary of law on national defense information and classified information.) The fact that the information does not have to be “marked classified” at the time only makes sense because sometimes, as in the case of the Clinton case and other 793 cases, the information is originated and distributed before any security officer can perform a review and put a classification mark on it.

So why has this not been discussed in the television and print media? Why has Clinton not been grilled by her interviewers as to whether her emails contained national defense information that could harm the U.S.? Why has everyone bought into the “marked classified” rabbit trail? One suspects that many reporters and commentators have not bothered to read the actual law or are hesitant to blow the central defense of the Clinton campaign out of the water."

Hillary Clinton Feels Sorry For Stupid Young People That Distrust Her | #IFeelSorry

"Hillary said that she feels sorry for the young people that distrust her and don't believe she will act on climate change. She claims they haven't done their research, but in actuality, that's WHY they distrust her. Because they HAVE done their research."

Hillary Clinton's absurd claim that she's the only candidate being attacked by Wall Street

"As challenger Bernie Sanders continues to hit Hillary Clinton over her Wall Street ties in Wisconsin, Hillary Clinton noted that she and the financial sector are more enemies than friends.

On Meet the Press, host Chuck Todd played Clinton a clip of Sanders joking on the campaign trail that her paid speeches to Goldman Sachs must have been written in Shakespearean prose.

"I'm the only candidate in the Democratic primary, or actually on either side, who Wall Street financiers and hedge fund managers are actually running ads against," she responded. "So I find this, again, a kind of, you know, circuitous way to raise questions about my record."

Is it true that Clinton is the sole target of Wall Street this cycle?

Our ruling

Clinton said, "I'm the only candidate in the Democratic primary, or actually on either side, who Wall Street financiers and hedge fund managers are actually running ads against."

Wall Street financiers and hedge fund managers are running ads against Clinton. But to say she’s the only one being attacked by people associated with the financial sector is preposterous.

The financial sector has contributed to both sides of the aisles, including to Clinton’s own campaign. Groups backed by Wall Street have run attack ads against virtually every candidate.

Clinton’s claim rates Pants on Fire!"

Clinton's frustration begins to show,Democrat's campaign chafes at enduring threat from well-funded

"After a year of campaigning, months of debates and 35 primary elections, Sanders is finally getting under Clinton's skin in the Democratic presidential race.

Clinton has spent weeks largely ignoring Sanders and trying to focus on Republican front-runner Donald Trump. Now, after several primary losses and with a tough fight in New York on the horizon, Clinton is showing flashes of frustration with the Vermont senator — irritation that could undermine her efforts to unite the party around her candidacy.

According to Democrats close to Hillary and former President Bill Clinton, both are frustrated by Sanders' ability to cast himself as above politics-as-usual even while firing off what they consider to be misleading attacks. The Clintons are even more annoyed that Sanders' approach seems to be rallying — and keeping — young voters by his side.

While Hillary Clinton's team contends her lock on the nomination as "nearly insurmountable," the campaign frequently grumbles that Sanders hasn't faced the same level of scrutiny as the former secretary of state, New York senator and first lady. Her aides complain about Sanders' rhetoric, claiming he's broken his pledge to avoid character attacks by going after her paid speeches and ties to Wall Street, and they point to scenes of Sanders supporters booing Clinton's name at his rallies.

Actress Rosario Dawson's 15-minute speech at a New York City rally on Thursday, in which she rallied the crowd by crying "shame on you, Hillary" and noted that Clinton could soon face an FBI interview over the email controversy while at the State Department, underscored the growing tensions between the campaigns."

Source: WatchTheYard

Members of Black greekdom have taken to the internet in outrage after a memorial dedicated to, Jeffrey Allan Matthews, a deceased member of Omega Psi Phi at James Madison University in Virginia was painted over with the words “TRUMP 2016”.

According to social media posts about the incident, a 22-year-old member of the black fraternity had lost his life earlier this week and friends had spent four hours on Friday creating the memorial on a rock for a candlelight vigil that they are holding tonight at 8pm.

Students woke up to the memorial early this morning covered with the “#TRUMPTRAIN” and “TRUMP 2016”. According to a source who reached out to WatchTheYard.com, the Omega vigil was last seen at 2am and the Trump one was seen at 7am, meaning that the vigil was only up for a total of 5 hours and someone decided to paint over it between the hours of 2 and 7am on a Saturday morning.

The FBI asked the US State Department to stop investigating Hillary Clinton's emails

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) — The U.S. State Department has suspended an internal review of whether classified information was properly handled in former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's emails at the request of the FBI, a spokeswoman said on Friday.

Clinton, the front-runner in the race for the Democratic Party nomination in the Nov. 8 presidential election, has apologized for using a private email server for official business while in office from 2009 to 2013 and said she did nothing wrong. The FBI is investigating the arrangement.

On Jan. 29, the State Department said 22 emails sent or received by Clinton had been upgraded to top secret at U.S. intelligence agency's request and would not be made public as part of the release of thousands of Clinton's emails. It said that none of the emails was marked classified when sent.

At the time, the department also said it would conduct an internal review on whether the information in the emails was classified at the time it passed through Clinton's private clintonemail.com account run on a server in her New York home.

The department consulted the FBI about this in February, and in March the law enforcement agency asked the State Department to halt its inquiry.

"The FBI communicated to us that we should follow our standard practice, which is to put our internal review on hold while there is an ongoing law enforcement investigation," State Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau told reporters."

So it turns out it was the FBI that asked the State Department to halt it's investigation.

Clinton once hit Obama for oil, gas donations

"SYRACUSE, New York (CNN) -
Hillary Clinton, currently defending herself from environmental critics for accepting money from employees at oil and gas companies, hit then-Sen. Barack Obama for doing the same thing in 2008.

Clinton lost her temper at an event on Thursday when activists from Greenpeace and 350 Action, two environmental organization, asked her to "reject fossil fuel money" and not accept donations from the gas and oil industry. "I'm so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about me. I'm sick of it," Clinton said.

In response to the confrontation, Nick Merrill, Clinton's spokesman, said the candidate "has not taken a dollar from oil and gas industry PACs or corporations." Clinton's campaign, in fact, has not received any money directly from oil and gas companies, as that would violate election law.

But during her 2008 presidential campaign against Obama, Clinton ran a 30-second ad hitting the then-senator for the same thing.

"You've seen the ad," says a narrator before cutting to a separate ad of Obama saying, "I don't take one from oil companies."

"No candidate does. It has been against the law for 100 years," says the narrator. "But Barack Obama accepted $200,000 from executives and employees of oil companies. Every gallon of gas takes over three bucks from your pocket. But Obama voted for the Bush-Cheney energy bill that puts $6 billion in the pocket of big oil."

The narrator adds, "Hillary voted against it. She will make oil companies pay to crate the new jobs in clean energy America needs."

Clinton concludes the ad by saying, "I'm Hillary Clinton and I approve this message.""
