The undocumented 10-year-old detained by the US border patrol on the way to a Texas hospital has been released from custody to rejoin her family.
Rosa Maria Hernandez left a shelter for unaccompanied minors in San Antonio on Friday, nine days after she was taken there. After she had passed through an interior checkpoint, officers had followed her to a childrens hospital in Corpus Christi, waited outside her room and arrested her once she had recovered from a gall bladder operation.
Soon after the Democratic US representative for San Antonio, Joaquin Castro, tweeted that the Department of Health and Human Services and the contractor that runs the shelter, BCFS, are refusing to let me meet with Rosa Maria, she was released pending a decision on whether the deportation process against her would continue.
While this is welcome news, Rosa Marias future remains uncertain, Castro said in a statement. The Trump administration has not made clear whether they will proceed with deportation proceedings against her
The United States should not be a place where children seeking life-sustaining medical care are at risk of apprehension.

The perception to the "world" at large, makes this country a laughing stock.
This young woman lives in a wheel chair 16 hours a day, has anyone every thought of putting themselves in that situation and living in a wheel chair----------
This is what is called a "malignant normality of a police state"
The logic of this "act" and just amazing, and then the "design"
There is treason being committed in this country, and this country has wing nuts in Congress, worrying about invasions across the border with with drugs being strapped on the bodies like cantaloupes.....................
It begins: Republican Congressmen introduce resolution calling for Mueller to resign
?resize=1280%2C720px&ssl=1A week after news broke that special counsel Robert Mueller had handed down the first indictments in the investigation into the Trump campaigns potential collusion with Russia, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has introduced a resolution calling for his recusal.
Gaetz, along with Reps. Louie Gohmert of Texas and Andy Biggs of Arizona, cite Muellers involvement in the Uranium One controversy. He was serving as FBI director at the time.
Evidence has emerged that the FBI withheld information from Congress and from the American people about Russian corruption of American uranium companies. A confidential U.S. witness, working in the Russian nuclear industry, revealed that Russia had deeply compromised an American uranium tracking firm through bribery and financial kickbacks [ ] These deeply troubling events took place when Mr. Mueller was the Director of the FBI. As such, his impartiality is hopelessly compromised. He must be shut down immediately, Gaetz wrote in the statement.

Hey Gaetz, Gohmert, and Biggs, FUCK YOU
The good guy with a gun theory didnt work out well in Colorado
Law enforcement officials say armed bystanders drawing their own firearms complicated an investigation into a deadly mass shooting in Colorado earlier this week.
Three people were killed on Wednesday when 47-year-old Scott Ostrem allegedly walked in a Walmart superstore in Thornton, a suburb of Denver, and began firing nonchalantly at shoppers. According to witness reports, Ostrem then turned and left the store, sparking a manhunt.
Details about the shooting are still emerging. The suspect has a minor criminal history but not much is known about his motive, according to Thornton police spokesman Victor Avila. The Daily Beast reported on Friday that Ostrem may have been a religious Christian who was prejudiced against his Latinx neighbors. Ostrems victims are Pamela Marques, 52, Carlos Moreno, 66, and Victor Vasquez, 26. Moreno and Vasquez died at the scene, while Marques succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Police officers ultimately caught Ostrem on Thursday morning, 14 hours after the shooting occurred. He reportedly attempted to flee but was trapped by traffic.

Children paid for the failed Kansas tax cuts and theyll pay for the GOP tax cuts, too
Source: Think Progress
Congressional Republicans unveiled a plan Thursday to cut taxes for large corporations and wealthy individuals, transferring $1.2 trillion in benefits to corporations and estates over the next 10 years. The scheme looks a lot like the disastrous Kansas tax experiment pushed through by Gov. Sam Brownback (R) in 2012. And, like the Kansas plan, itll likely be paid for on the backs of children.
As ThinkProgress previously reported, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will give corporations and wealthy business owners huge windfalls. But the tax incentives for children in low-income families remain mostly unchanged. The bill would increase the Child Tax Credit (CTC) by $600, but it is nonrefundable, which means, according to the Center for American Progress (CAP), that lower-income families who owe little or no federal income tax do not get its full benefit. (ThinkProgress is editorially independent of CAP.)
All of this means that the plan will likely produce massive budget deficits. The Kansas plan was not much different. Indeed, Trumps chief tax advisers were the architects of the Kansas tax cuts.

CNN: Longtime Trump Confidante To Appear Before House Intel Committe
By ESME CRIBB Published NOVEMBER 1, 2017 6:28 PM
Keith Schiller, President Donald Trumps former personal bodyguard-turned-former White House aide, will appear before the House Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, CNN reported late Wednesday.
CNN reported, citing two unnamed sources familiar with the matter, that Schiller will appear before the congressional panel next Tuesday.
ABC News reported in June that the House Intelligence Committee was seeking to interview Schiller as part of its probe into Russias election meddling.
Schiller led the Trump Organizations security operations before he joined Trumps administration as director of Oval Office operations.
He was one of Trumps most loyal and trusted aides; the President dispatched him in May to fire former FBI director James Comey (who was out of town) and in August to fire former White House aide George Gigicos.

I wonder if they the (intelligence committee) will ask him if he supports Gestapo tactics on people that protest on a public street have this right under the Constitution, and then they can ask him if he supports a TRAITOR and is beholden to a foreign state government, and the money he paid you was laundered ?
Google and Facebook's Congressional Testimonies Reveal a Deep Hypocrisy at the Heart of the Missions
The House and Senate intelligence committees probed legal representatives from Google, Facebook, and Twitter this week over their role in Russia's hacking of the 2016 election. While the three corporate reps played along, claiming ignorance of the extent of the Russian involvement and outrage over it happening at all, their behavior at the testimonies revealed a deep and underlying rot within their companies one that we all could have seen coming since we first discovered these companies were spying on us. The Google, Facebook, and Twitter congressional hearings this week confirmed that the Russian infiltration of the American election wasn't just a problem of oversight on behalf of those companies. They also revealed that these companies have, to some extent, abandoned their fundamental missions.
Of the three who testified on Capitol Hill on Tuesday and Wednesday, Facebook is under the most heat at the moment. In September, Facebook admitted that Russian accounts had spent $100,000 on 3,000 ads during the election, and claimed the ads reached just 10 million people. On Monday, Facebook revealed that the Russian ads reached a far, far greater number of Facebook users than it had previously predicted: 126 million American users. Then it topped that number yet again on Wednesday when it announced 146 million Facebook users saw the ads. Its highly likely that they held as much sway over the voters they reached as any other political propaganda during the election. CNN reporter Dylan Byers captured the Facebook backtracking well.

And Al Franken then tried to get the obvious answer....................the model of your laissez-faire failed the republic and the democracy because they were only worried about the bottom line and greed

Al Franken Lays Into Facebook Executive Over Russian Ad Buys in Tense Senate Hearing
Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) asked Facebook vice president and general counsel Colin Stretch how it was possible not to notice Russias political advertising purchases made with a foreign currency.
How did Facebook, which prides itself in connecting data points, somehow not make the connection that electoral ads paid for in rubles were coming from Russia? Franken asked Stretch.
Stretch admitted that the company "missed" the giant red flags. Franken was not satisfied, and he had a simple question to settle the entire matter in the future.
Franken asked Stretch if Facebook would simply commit not to accept payment in foreign currency for political ad buys in the United States. When Stretch tried to deflect with a word salad, Franken grew agitated.

The essence of what a oligarchy and its minions in the tech world look like, making billions of dollars, standing on a street corner selling wares, and not asking any questions where they got the money, just so long as they got the money..............no concept of putting the country first, the same country that allowed them to make those billions, to take some effort to protect the republic and its democracy .
The same companies not taking there "principles' into account, just the concept of making billions, closing their eyes to the fact that they are trying to deflect there responsibility, knowing that the money could have been greenbacks, and treating the Russian money has being the in the same format....................money to make a profit for the bottom line on wall street and there investors.
I personally do not use Facebook, Twitter, I use other platforms to access the web. I use this site and its threads, and others to be in the opposition research to expose the stupidity of the greed and the republicans and how corporate elites like Facebook, Twitter, use and expand the doctrine.................
Define laissez-faire:
a doctrine opposing governmental interference in economic affairs beyond the minimum necessary for the maintenance of peace and property rights
a philosophy or practice characterized by a usually deliberate abstention from direction or interference especially with individual freedom of choice and action
And Twitter and Facebook and others failed in there laissez-faired
Al Franken is right, commonsense was thrown out the window, just like baby with the bathwater
Trump tried to explain his tax plan. It was a disaster.
Addressing reporters in the White House on Wednesday, President Trump tried to explain how he plans to shepherd his tax cut plan through Congress. As was the case during his failed push to repeal Obamacare, Trump couldnt do it.
Trump began with a painfully obvious reminder legislation is a result of a collaborative effort between the two chambers of Congress.
In the House, I must tell you, theyve been working really hard, and theyre coming up with a great plan, Trump said. And the Senate is coming up with a great plan. And theyre going to be put together and something is going to come out of that that will be, I think, really, really something very special.
Without mentioning a single specific things he wants to accomplish with tax reform, Trump went on to insist that the end product will be beautiful and special.
