Tiger Attacks Tourist, Kills Another at China Safari Park

A tourist was killed by a tiger and another seriously injured after getting out of their car while touring a safari park in China.

An investigation was launched into the deadly incident at the Badaling Wildlife Park in Beijing.

Surveillance video captured the moment when two visitors in the front seats of a white sedan reportedly got into an argument while driving through the tiger enclosure on Saturday.

In the video, a woman is seen getting out of the car and walking around to the driver's side door when a tiger suddenly attacks her from behind and drags her off.

The male driver immediately chases after them but retreats. A second woman in the back of the car joins the rescue attempt but authorities said she was killed by another tiger.

Park workers were on the scene within seconds but they were too late to save the victim.

LOL! Third Eye Blind Tortures RNC Concertgoers With LGBT Rights Speech, New Material

Like Bruce Willis drilling himself into the core of an evil asteroid, Third Eye Blind performed to a sea of GOPers at a charity concert in Cleveland last night with the apparent intention of pissing everyone off.

According to Billboard, the band refused to play most of its hits—except for “Jumper,” which is about a gay man who jumps off a bridge, and which singer Stephan Jenkins introduced by talking about the need to bring people like “my cousins, who are gay, into the American fabric,” and to “not live your life in fear and imposing that fear on other people.” From Billboard:

Witnesses at the group’s Tuesday night show in Cleveland, a charity gig inside the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, reported that Jenkins used the occasion to say he “repudiates” what the Republican party now stands for. Clips uploaded to social media platforms show the crowd booing, followed by Jenkins exclaiming: “You can boo all you want, but I’m the motherf—-in’ artist up here.”
Jenkins also reportedly asked the crowd to “raise your hand if you believe in science,” to which they responded with boos. Nice!

Carson: Melania's alleged plagiarism a sign 'we share the same values'

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Trump campaign surrogate Ben Carson on Tuesday dismissed evidence that elements of Melania Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention were plagiarized from Michelle Obama, suggesting that if plagiarism did occur, it was a sign of shared values.

“If Melania’s speech is similar to Michelle Obama’s speech, that should make us all very happy because we should be saying, whether we’re Democrats or Republicans, we share the same values,” he told reporters after addressing a Florida GOP delegation breakfast at a hotel here 20 minutes outside Cleveland, where the RNC is taking place.

“If we happen to share values, we should celebrate that, not try to make it into a controversy,” he added.

“I don’t think they were plagiarized. I think there are general principles that are very valuable to Americans, and of course to express those principles you’re going to use similar language,” Carson said.

Carson, a former presidential candidate himself, is no stranger to dealing with fallout from plagiarism. In 2015, he apologized for examples of plagiarism found in his book, “America the Beautiful.”

D'oh! RNC forced to close online convention chat after anti-Semites turn it into a Jew-bashing hatef

I always thought conservative support of Israel was disingenuous...You can live stream the Republican National Convention on the RNC’s official YouTube page, but you can’t chat about it live anymore.

Why, you ask? Because the Republicans have now disabled the live chat window on the page after it got overrun by anti-Semitic Trump supporters.

As former Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle gave a speech promoting inroads that Republicans have made with Jewish voters, as well as ripping the Democrats for allegedly being more hostile to Israel, Trump’s alt-right followers flooded the page with anti-Semitic vitriol.

Among other things, the Trump fans wrote “Press H for Hitler,” “JOOS,” “BAN JEWS,” “OY GEVALT,” and “KIKE.”

Josh Feuerstein to Black Lives Matter: ‘I will fill you with 60 rounds of pure lead’

Viral evangelist Josh Feuerstein, known for starting the Starbucks cup controversy, urging Christians to arm themselves against gay rights advocates and to “punish Planned Parenthood” and make its employees “fear for their lives,” is once again advocating violence to his millions of followers.

In a video posted to his Facebook page this Sunday, Feuerstein references the Dallas and Baton Rouge cop killings and seemingly calls out the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Look, I’m calling on every American citizen — I love Jesus… I’m a preacher, but you know what?”

Josh then brandishes his handgun which he says is loaded with “20 rounds of pure brutality.”

“Look, I may love Jesus, but if I see you pull a gun on an officer — you want to know whose side I’m on? That’s right, I”m gonna fill you with 60 rounds of pure lead.”

Broadcaster claims Pokémon Go has infested churches with cyber-demons

I'm not interested in this trend but may reconsider....



Christian broadcaster Rick Wiles has made a name for himself among an already loony group of conspiracy theorists and fearmongers. This time he may have outdone himself.

Wiles has been featured in other posts for claiming LGBT people would kill anyone who doesn’t support marriage equality, Target‘s bathroom policy will lead to a nuclear attack and Obama is coming into schools to “rape your children,” and praying for Ebola to hit the United States to “solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality.”

On Monday, the “Truview” host told viewers a harrowing story about a man standing outside his office building last week taking photos with his cell phone. Wiles called the cops on the poor guy, who was just playing Pokémon Go. Frustrated that no malicious intent was involved, Wiles turned to his grabbag of nonsense and pulled out cyber-demons.

“These Pokémon creatures are like virtual, cyber-demons,” he said according to Right Wing Watch. “What this man, Friday, was trying to find was the Pokémon demon that had been placed inside the ‘Trunews’ office.”

“The enemy, Satan, is targeting churches with virtual, digital, cyber-demons,” Wiles said, noting that many of game’s virtual “gyms” have been placed in houses of worship by players. “I believe this thing is a magnet for demonic powers.”

Driver plows through 'Black Lives Matter' protesters in southern IL

“All lives matter, not blacks, all lives,” the driver said before plowing into a group of Black Lives Matter protesters.

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -
The driver of an SUV plowed through a group of protesters during a “Black Lives Matters” march in southern Illinois on Sunday, July 10.

According to Carbondale police, at around 10 p.m., officers began to monitor demonstrators who began marching along Washington Street in Carbondale.

Police say they continued marching throughout the downtown streets, briefly assembled in front of the Carbondale Police Department, before returning to the Town Square Pavilion.

According to police, as they were returning to the pavilion, a vehicle tried to drive through the demonstrators in the 200 block of East Main Street while they were blocking traffic.

You can see this in a Facebook Live video captured by Heartland News.

In the video, you see the driver stop his vehicle just before the protesters. The driver gets out of his vehicle and shouts at protesters.

Navy shoots down ‘American Sniper’ Chris Kyle’s overstated claims of medals received

Ressponding to reports that famed “American Sniper” Chris Kyle embellished his war record with claims of medals he never received, the US Navy has released his records showing he overstated his valor awards in his best-selling book.

In an unusual move, the Navy released the late Navy Seal’s discharge paperwork showing a discrepancy between what he stated in the book — which went on to become a box office smash — and what he was actually awarded, reports USAToday,

According to the Navy, no records were found for two of six Bronze Stars with combat ‘V’ and the second Silver Star, two of which he had said he received. The Navy did state that famed sniper had earned a single Silver Star and four Bronze Stars during his ten years of service.

“After thoroughly reviewing all available records, the Navy determined an error was made in the issuance of Chief Petty Officer Chris Kyle’s form DD214,” Ensign Marc Rockwellpate, a Navy spokesman, said in a statement. “Specifically, the DD 214 did not accurately reflect the decorations and awards to which Kyle was officially entitled. After notifying his family of the error, the Navy issued a corrected copy of the DD 214, which accurately reflects Kyle’s years of honorable and extraordinary Navy service.”

Kyle never corrected the official record, which has cast a shadow over other claims made in his book.
