My favorite scene is a fist fight between the Russian ambassador and a US general in the war room of the White House, and the President says, "You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!"

of course the most famous scene is when Maj Kong (Slim Pickens) rides the bomb.

Can Putin be charged with war crimes?

This whole Ukraine invasion seems to rest solely on the shoulders of Putin. Can he be charged with war crimes? I understand that arresting him would be near impossible. That's not what I'm asking. What I want to know is: can charges of war crimes be brought because he initiated an unprovoked invasion of a peaceful country?

I voted today

I'm 74 and I have never missed an election or voted for a republican. I voted in Dallas. I was very surprised at how many women were on the Dem ballot. I'll bet 80% were women. Many of the judgeship positions had only a female candidate. And of course, I voted for Beto for Gov.

What will Trump do in the end?

We all know this is coming to a head. In the end there will be indictments, perhaps in several jurisdictions: NY, GA, and Fed.

Perhaps in NY, some of NY assets may get confiscated. But if convicted in GA and on Fed charges, he faces real jail time. So what will he do? Will he hold out for plea deals where he ponies up money? I can't see him allowing himself to be incarcerated.

So what will he do? Will he flea to somewhere the US has no extradition treaty, maybe Russia? Will he pay Putin to let him buy a nice dacha in the country?
