So when does one become the other side in "both sides"? What is the line for being as bad as a Nazi?

Give this to all the Trump apologists. And please shuffle things around and add them as I took things from multiple dimensions (Beliefs, statements, social policy, economic policy, etc.) and put it all in one list so everybody will see things as different on the 'how extreme it is' scale. I also thought about making a question for support for the ACA and one for "Obamacare", but I decided against it, but if you want to do it, please do.

Please stop at the position that is "just as bad" as Dylann Roof, Jason Dalton, and Jason Alex Fields, 'joking' about throwing people into ovens, seeing "The Purge" and "Punishment Park" as instructional videos, and more.

Is it:
* Being "politically correct"?
* Seeing the concept of "political correctness" as a strawman used by the right?
* Saying "Happy Holidays"?
* Questioning the divinity and "divine inspirations" of people such as Pat Robertson?
* Thinking Alex Jones is an idiot?
* Seeing Breitbart News as the textbook definition of "fake news"?
* Seeing the Shoebat clan (Walid and Theodore) and Sebastian Gorka as frauds?
* Abolishing child labor?
* Saying that black lives matter?
* Seeing something wrong when it's a "war on drugs" for inner city blacks, but "public health crisis" for suburban whites?
* Supporting light gun control, as in military hardware not being in the streets?
* Thinking that access to contraception should be as free as access to Viagra?
* Adhering to concepts such as "social justice" or "equal rights"?
* Thinking that freedom of religion means much more than freedom to be YOUR religion?
* Supporting a minimum wage, safety regulations, and weekends?
* Putting fluoride in the drinking water?
* Vaccinating against diseases?
* Being a registered Democrat?
* Identifying as a liberal or progressive?
* Identifying as a feminist?
* Voting for people you, the person taking this, don't agree with?
* Supporting the Affordable Care Act?
* Providing support for refugees?
* Seeing race, gender, and class as social constructs rather than something biological or divinely inspired?
* Supporting the dismantling of Confederate monuments?
* Thinking that things such as Sandy Hook could have been prevented and looking for ways to prevent the next one?
* Protesting against right wing rallies?
* Identifying as an anti-fascist?
* Being an anti-fascist and supporting non-violent tactics against fascists?
* Supporting means tested welfare programs?
* Thinking the rich should pay higher taxes than the poor?
* Supporting a woman's right to choose?
* Supporting same sex marriage?
* Thinking transgendered individuals should have rights to self-determination?
* Identifying as a social democrat?
* Identifying as a socialist?
* Wanting universal healthcare?
* Wanting free college education?
* Supporting guaranteed employment programs such as the Civilian Conservation Corps?
* Supporting the Nordic model of social and economic programs?
* Supporting a welfare state?
* Supporting the confiscation of guns?
* Supporting reparations for slavery and Jim Crow?
* Being an anti-fascist and supporting violent tactics against fascists?
* Identifying as a communist?
* The enactment of a communist state?
* Supporting a regime of radical feminism as defined by Rush Limbaugh and other pundits?
* Supporting a left wing revolution against the government and corporations, think Symbionese Liberation Army several times over?

A job rejection notification

Let's say one receives a boilerplate email or letter (usually email) that says "We have reviewed your application and credentials and, unfortunately, we are not moving forward with your job candidacy at this time. Best of luck in your job search." or something to that effect. This one is copied from one of those many emails I received years ago, other people may recognize this email as well, lurkers too. And I can honestly say, receiving this over and over again when bills were piling up and at a time when I was a new young adult trying to make my own life was truly dehumanizing. Today, I am employed at a place where I am loved and it's a thing I love doing, but it was a struggle back then and there was something I touched on in my own head a while back and I am very glad I did and today it's something I wish to fully articulate...

The person who sends those kinds of emails is usually white and/or male. (Full disclosure: I am white and male myself)

The person who originally designed it was probably white and/or male.

The person who made the ultimate hiring decision to hire not-you was probably white and/or male.

The person who knows you are applying to this job, it may even be a minimum wage job with zero benefits that you are genuinely willing to do and may actually be (over)qualified to do (yet you still need to eat), but said you are not worth the time or effort to employ or train was most likely white and/or male.

I know I've never received this email in Spanish or any dialect thereof and I never received one that said "Best of luck in your job search. Allahu Ackbar." I doubt anyone else here, at least in the US, has received it either.

But somehow it's the immigrant's fault or the ethnic minority is behind it all, right?

Trump can't be President of the "many sides"

Especially considering when one of those sides flies a flag of secession, worships a nation and it's leaders which broke apart from our state and waged war against it, seeks to be servile to Putin, sees college-educated Americans, liberal Americans, Jewish Americans, Muslim Americans, Transgender Americans, and Americans who protest against them as targets and the 'other' who is an enemy.

Trump can choose between being the head of state of this one side or he can choose to not have the office of the President tainted by his words and actions (or lack thereof).

This is the choice we all need to put out there for him, his supporters, and for all of us as well.

Infighting, running people in red areas, etc. doesn't matter if we're not fighting *It*

Not the Stephen King book, but very similar. We have a critical social problem in this country, and while I can not define what It is, I can give you all examples of this thing, this syndrome if you will, you have seen it, or something similar to what I am about to describe, and some of you may deny it completely, others may that it does exist and is a fringe thing, it has without a doubt become normalized by the recent 'election' and processes afterwards.

It is...

Somebody agreeing to every. Single. One. Of. These. Images. Simultaneously.

People who would rather have unemployment, an opioid crisis in their neighborhood, alienation, and I don't think it's that much of an exaggeration to say they would scratch out their own eyes than be "bossed around" by some college liberal and/or minority.

A person who says they actually think it is better (For some unexplained reason) to be shot by a "Jason Dalton" as opposed to a "Muhammad".

The politicians and media which attempt to shame people who want healthcare and education for all as unreasonable and even insane while normalizing the alt/far right and three percenter-types who view "Punishment Park" as an instructional video and viewing them as partners or associates.

Cheering on tax cuts you will never benefit from and sending death threats to a woman (and her young son) who posts a medical bill showing how her family benefits from the ACA because you are convinced that you are "temporarily not-rich" and the sick is simply the "other" that you are sure you will never be.

These people and institutions who push GLBTQ-Americans as predators just waiting to strike, Muslim-Americans as potential enemies, the millennial American as "killing everything", the college educated American as worthless, and the liberal American as horrific while pushing an autocrat in the Kremlin who invades allies, murders dissidents, blows up a civilian airplane, and slings polonium as our greatest ally.

Notice how I didn't mention Trump, that's because It is bigger than Trump, with his administration and all the double standards and attempts to normalize what is going on as just another manifestation of It.

Going forward, we have to out-organize It, we have to debunk and discredit tropes and cliches associated with It, we have to defund and find ways to destroy institutions which push It, and while we have to vote against It when this system is pushed by people and issues, if we're not finding ways to resist and mitigate It in a multitude of ways every day starting today, then we're not going to win ever again. Period.

It is time for an Evolved Resistance. It is time for the Trident Network.

I believe it is time to refocus our goals and create new ones, we have a great deal of problems in our society and in the political sphere, and while I plan to vote Democratic in 2018, 2020, and beyond, it needs to be one prong in a multi-pronged strategy.

You see, this has been a week of straws; Trumpcare advancing, Lamar Smith going from denying climate change to now embracing it and endorsing a sort of passive genocide to groups like indigenous Siberians and other people living in the arctic, and now the insane and reactionary transgender ban... this is of course on top of other previous weeks and months of straws such as waving off corruption, the stunning hypocritical treatment of Trump against Obama, and we also can't forget about the Trump supporters who cheer on your access to medical care being cut so billionaires will get a tax break and say that we need to make nice with a certain autocrat in the Kremlin so we can somehow wage a better war against a billion and a half Muslims. If you've reached the final straw like me, then please pay attention.

For a long time now, I have been sending private messages to some members here telling them of another group to spend some time at another group, this network. After consulting with some of the other members, there has been a realization that it is time to make this go from private message to opening it up to everybody.

I want to introduce the Trident Network to you, and ask you all, if you are interested, to please join any and all groups you think can help in and if you join one group with the exception of one, then the credentials should work for the others on top of joining very easily (Use a throwaway Hotmail address if you don't want to use anything else), nearly every group is interested in discussion of the news and general discussion, but there is also targeted discussion focused on the specific issues we are aimed at, as well as looking for actual things to do that can create real social change with some things that we can do today with more coming in the days and weeks ahead.

This network consists of:

* The Burn Notice: The nexus, here are general goals we look at, as well as a place for people from the sum of the groups to meet at.

* PALLADIUM: Specific goals; whether it's defense from Fancy Bear and Trumpcare, getting the US healthcare to more treatment of diseases and disabilities and less social control, resisting marginalization, resisting the alt/far-right, challenging the notion that wealth is equal to godliness and deconstructing class, busting binaries, working to ensure people with Trumpgrets have genuine Trumpgrets, deconstructing gender and race, resisting Putinism while supporting human and civil rights for Russian people and working with progressive Russians, and resisting the Daesh and far right shared delusion that there is or needs to be a war between us and the Muslim world.

* Right Wing Infopedia: This wiki was founded about a decade ago to detail the dirty and sordid details of stealth conservatism, and it is still about that, but now with a forum, it has also spread to get the dirt on the who/what/where/when/why/how of the virulent strains of disordered thinking that is sweeping the political arena today.

* Discordian Brain: All about highlighting and challenging thought-terminating cliches and "serious" rhetoric and more through absurdity, parody, and noting contradictions. Let your hair down a bit here.

* Endangermicide: A fight needs to be done against the very punishments that are used against the disadvantaged, these punishments are the fangs of the status quo, and it's time to defang it; whether it's in the form of general havoc in the forms of discrimination against unemployment or (medical) debt or the continuum of endangerment as a whole, which means we need to be cutting vicious circles and exposing disparities.

* Operation Pulpit Crack: If the Trump administration has proved anything, it is definitely that the growth in power of the executive branch over the years is too much for one man, or for one manchild. Trump's power is not divine or genetic, it is agreed to by us, and not one day every four years, but every single day. Many unofficial powers of the office of the President are only here because we have "respect for the office of the President", but if the choice is between protecting the environment, saying no to romanticizing war, and standing up against authoritarianism; then what kind of progressives are we if we are siding with this so-called "respect"? It's time to say no more.

* Crisis vs War Watch: Named for the fact that the "war on drugs" became more of a "public health crisis" when the face of drug use changed from black and inner city to white and suburban, here there is a focus on 'other' issues that are no less important, ranging from the politics that invokes symptoms of personality disorders, food security, lead poisoning, to social contagions.

* Dread State: Dread not at the Dread State, here the goal is to highlight, challenge, and destroy systems that reinforce corruption, hate, inefficiency, and more that exist inside and outside of the government. Somebody has to be a check on these systems, if the government will not or can not do it, then it has to be us.

* Olfactorius: A slightly different focus, will not look at the groups or individuals involved in the body of corruption, but at the more subtle problems, Olfactorius aims at discrediting the tropes associated with this corruption, at turning the cliches that justify it into sources of annoyance.

* Peerless Innovation Systems: My own personal project, I believe that a possible way to resist system justification and fundamentalism is to push ahead with innovations in science and technology, this is the place to give them a small showcase, discuss them, and find ways to support them.

* Your group? Your own groups can be a part of this network, if your goals mesh with our goals, if you adhere to economic power of valuing social change over change in the form of money then there might be a place for you.

Time is short, so there is an urgent need for agent-activists who will have a leading role in these things to do we are looking to do every day, for researchers to collect information and categorize it, and for moderators to keep these groups alive, secure, and on-topic, so if you join and are interested in these roles, then you can be fast-tracked into them.

All are welcome if you support the mission, although I fully expect that the far right will not feel welcome because of the things we want. So if you don't want to put all your eggs in one basket, if you do not think we have until 2020, or even until 2018, if you are like me who is seeing the last straw on the camel's back and who has loved ones that you worry more and more about their future every day, and if you want to be the change in a small but growing network, then look us up.

Not Paying

You pay for their healthcare, now they're going to turn around and cut your access to services, insurance, jack up prices for medical services, but hey, at least they get tax cuts for billionaires and we all know erectile dysfunction and affluenza will never be pre-existing conditions.

Where is the line?

At what point do we say "No more!"?

How about here? Why not now?

If they pass Trumpcare; defined as 'replace', defined as 'repeal', defined as 'let it fail'; then do not pay your medical bills, nobody pay anything, if you do pay, then pay as slowly and in as small increments as possible in the form of physical checks, send your bills to your Representatives, to your Senators, and to the members of the Electoral College who were OK with this travesty and tell them to pay, resist medical debt collectors, and if you are a doctor or nurse, then don't pay school loans and tuition.

Maybe it's time for a no-payer system.

Not Paying.

July 21, 2017

There is no escaping "Trumpcare" for Trump, Republicans

"Repeal and replace" IS Trumpcare
"Just repeal" IS Trumpcare
"Just let the ACA 'fail'" IS Trumpcare

They own this, don't let them say they don't.

Subvert the rhetoric.

So why doesn't the media call any of Trump's people "Czars"? Let's help it out!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._executive_branch_czars

You may notice that the concern about "Czars" has dropped off after the Obama administration, well I think it's time we get the ball rolling. We can ask why the media is not calling high-level officials in the Trump administration "czars" or we can start calling them by that title ourselves.

So...

Ivanka - Genetic Lottery Czar
Jared - Failed Negotiations Czar
Donald Jr - All about adopting Russian kids and not really about scrapping the Magnitsky Act Czar
Bannon - Breitbart Czar
Gorka - Fraudulent Security Czar
Any more?

Do your part to spread the word.
