This is more tension-filled than Watergate was...

those of us who were around in those days recall the drip drip drip and then the sudden WHAM!!! of the big disclosure whether it was the existence of the taping system or the Saturday night Massacre or the trip over to the WH by Goldwater, Scott, and one or two other Senators to tell Nixon he was done.

But this...THIS! is beyond all that...this miscreant lowlife who was blowing little people out of the water with his threats, bravado and bluster finally entered the big leagues and as with everyone who gets involved at that level, he has found out that he is quite vulnerable and going down like the Titanic or the Lusitania.

What I don't get is how the Republicans didn't go after him: I'm certain their oppo research knew all this stuff and they gave him an almost-free pass. Bush, Cruz, Kasich, Pataki, are all old pros and should have stopped this guy in his tracks. But the media was allowed to give him a free ride, and with his 100% name recognition and his penchant for lying through his teeth and his insults, he bullied his way to the top, just to find, as though he were the lead character in a Shakespeare play, that he has far to fall. And quickly at that.

I think that the powers that be decided enough is enough and went after him full-bore. I'm certain we haven't seen the end of this play whose ending may take place in the Castle Keep with an angry soliloquy playing at the end of this four-year drama.

This reminds me of the old joke:

The moron takes his girlfriend home after the date. At the door he says to her, " Hey baby, how about a "goodnight fuck"?

She replies, "OK. Goodnight, Fuck"

Goodnight Fuck. So much for worrying about whether he's elected or not.

Bill Clinton set Trump and the Rethugs up

In the most ingenious 6 Dimensional chess game ever played, Bill convinced Donald to run knowing full well what would unfold and unravel. It destroyed the GOP and guaranteed his wife's election. Brilliant.

Those of you who know me know that I don't make shit up.

Today I had a very interesting patient who told me some very good news:

This guy is a sports statistician: people in professional sports pay him ungodly sums to figure out various propositions and whether they would benefit the team or not. The film Moneyball was based on some of the fundamental premises under which these guys work

But guess what he does in his "spare time"? He handicaps elections based upon aspects of polls which we, the public, never get to see, such as the sampling and the rationale for such sampling. He told me in no uncertain terms that any state in which Trump is leading by four points or fewer, he will lose and that the professionals in the business are expecting a win by Mrs. Clinton of at LEAST the proportion of the 2008 victory by President Obama if not greater.

Further, he agreed that the statement made by Chuck Todd was correct: that the polls which showed the race tightening utilized fallacious methodology. Gross undersampling of Democrats for example.

This is good news if true. I have no reason to doubt his professional judgement.

What if there were other papers mailed with the return?

Perhaps there's a faulty assumption that that's all that was in the envelope. Perhaps there were other documents which will take a bit longer to verify. Perhaps some very incriminating documents.

Some people think this might be the case.

I know who leaked the tax return:

There is a cleaning woman of Hispanic background in Trump Tower who overheard Donald referring to her in some racist misogynistic stereotype. One night she saw the return sitting on a desk so she copied it and sent it in, ironically enough, one of the envelopes in a drawer. What her employers did not know is that before she had to clean offices for a living, she was a bookkeeper for a retail establishment in San Juan and knew exactly what she was looking at and what the ramifications would be.

I'm a big believer in irony, obviously

Rhetorical Question # MDCXXXIV:

How did almost none of the horror stories and scandals come out while Trump was running in the Rethug Primaries? Was the plan to allow him to immolate all the challengers and then beat him to political-death with this ongoing outpouring of activities which peg him and his companies and his executives as the miscreants which they are so that Hillary could win?

If I were writing a political thriller I would incorporate this storyline without question.

How did Jeb raise $100,000,000 and allow this to happen to him and thusly to America. I just don't get it...
