I have seen six dozen trips around the Sun and I have never in my lifetime seen anything close to the corruption we are now experiencing in Washington, DC.

Donald Trump is skimming money from the taxpayers and the military to put into his own pocket. It is so blatantly criminal that it is unbelievable to most Americans.

Mitch McConnell refuses to pass legislation to protect our votes, even as he knows that foreign countries are intent on messing with our elections and our sacred right to vote. Why would he block a bill to protect the voters of this country?

It is a cesspool.

How can Congress force General Flynn to testify if he refuses?

I suppose he now knows that the DOJ will not prosecute and he has probably been offered a pardon by Trump?

Can the Congress get a judge to validate a subpoena before it is delivered? Or is that illegal?

Otherwise, what options does the Congress have if General Flynn continues to defy subpoenas?

An official impeachment inquiry would send Trump completely over the edge.

He is close already.

In the last few weeks, anonymous White House staff have told sources that he has become unhinged, ranting about everything, and nobody can talk to him. They are very concerned.

He did not handle the Hurricane well. Some wondered if he was even getting updates about it, after he made a confusing comment about Alabama? He was commenting on news that was 4 or 5 days old. he was unable to show any empathy for the victims, but that was nothing new.

The job appears to be more than he can handle, mentally. It's difficult when the president is a control freak.

But, if an official impeachment inquiry is announced, it may become more than he can handle? He could lose it. And he is a very unpredictable individual.

Nadler and the Judiciary need to have a very well-planned strategy, if they go down this road? They need a larger list of witnesses to be subpoenaed and they need to be ready to immediately go to the Courts to get their approvals of the subpoenas. They will need to inform the possible witnesses that failure to follow a Court order can lead to fine and/or imprisonment.

They need to follow a very aggressive path to get witnesses in front of them as soon as possible. The Mueller investigation is over and they are still processing the information within the Report. It will still be part of any larger investigation that might happen.

Corruption must be attacked very aggressively. That is what emoluments is about. Money is being made in a corrupt way. They should subpoena the Air Force crewman that were on the last flight to Scotland and find out what they know about the diversion to a Trump business, in my opinion. They should go out immediately. They should do it behind closed doors.

Impeachment must begin now.

Do Trump supporters love their country?

We are all Americans. We are not usually in the habit of questioning another citizen's patriotism.

However, we cannot help but be skeptical of what some folks are able to overlook. Their loyalty to Donald Trump is beyond all bounds of normalcy and decency. We all have kinfolks that we can relate to.

There is no doubt but that Donald Trump is a liar and a cheat. He has always been a liar and a cheat, long before he entered the White House. That is no big deal for his supporters. What about the Clintons, they ask?

Being a "businessman" does not give one the privilege or the right to ignore the laws of our Constitution. A president cannot make "deals" for himself and pretend it is in the interest of all America. He cannot steal from the American taxpayers.

According to legal documents from the Michael Cohen investigation, Donald Trump is an "unindicted co-conspirator" in paying off a porn star and a Playboy bunny, to keep them from talking just before the election in 2016. It is a big deal. For all Americans. If it had been made public, Donald Trump probably would not be sitting in the White House today?

As difficult as it may be to accept for his supporters, Donald Trump is stealing money from the American taxpayers. We have known since 2016 that he had money connections to Russia and Saudi Arabia. We still do not know the extent of the connections. Thanks to his supporters, they never thought it was important. After all, he was a "businessman".

All politics aside, if you love your country you cannot let this continue. We now hear Donald Trump is using the military to stuff his own pockets. He is ordering the military to stay at his hotels and golf courses and re-fuel huge transport planes with jet fuel close to his establishments, instead of at a military installation. This cannot be acceptable to any American, Trump supporter or not.

There comes a time when one has to take their head out of the sand and open their eyes and look around. Trump supporters have created a situation that is untenable. It is up to them to help us get out of it. Or maybe they don't love America as much as they pretend?

To cover up their eyes, ears, and mouth, and shut out all disagreeable thought, is no longer acceptable. The country is in dire straights and it is the Trump supporters that put it there. It is no longer enough to say, "But we didn't get Hillary". It is not up to the opponents of Trump to rescue this country. It is up to the folks that put us in this mess. They know who they are. And we know who they are.

Yes, these words are probably a waste of breath and effort but sometimes things just need to be said. We cannot save those that do not wish to be saved. We can waste no more time on them. It is too valuable and too important.

"What we got here is..."

The media is "exhausted"?

A couple of talk shows this morning mentioned that voters were exhausted with Donald Trump. I wonder if they were talking about the voters or talking about themselves?

Personally, I think everyone is exhausted with the insanity. It's not funny anymore. It's not just the "libs" that are getting exhausted. It is everyone.

We cannot even escape the wrath of a hurricane without some distraction or diversion. The media is quick to remind us that he used a "sharpie" to alter an official weather map. Also, it was illegal.

But, not to worry. The "sharpie" story would soon be gone. He had set up a "secret" meeting with the Taliban that would be completed sometime around the anniversary of 9/11 attack upon our country by the Taliban and her allies. The friggin' Taliban!

So, is the media exhausted? Yeah, I guess they are?

Even Republicans know it stinks.

They can smell it all the way from Scotland.

Their president has been making money off the US Military. In other words, he has been stealing from the US taxpayers. It's difficult to put a pretty face on it. It is so obvious. His golf club went from "in the red" to in the black, because of business brought to it by Donald J Trump. The business was that of the US Military. And how much of the Jet Petroleum revenues did he receive? There is a lot that has been discovered but there is still a lot we do not know. Bet on it.

Are there other examples of Trump using the military to stuff his own pockets?

Besides the C-17 transport stopping in Scotland at his resort and refueling at someplace besides a military base? How many times have they used Scotland?

This became public after the Pence fiasco in Ireland, where he flew almost 200 miles out of the way so he could spend taxpayer dollars at one of Trump's resorts.

All of this became known after Trump unashamedly invited the G-7 to stay at his Doral Golf Club next year? That sort of raised eyebrows. He never gave a thought to the impropriety or the appearance of impropriety of such an invite.

These are brazen examples of corruption and in violation of the emoluments clause of our Constitution.

The Congress should add that to the violation to the Storm Daniels campaign finance violation. It was criminal to buy off a porn star to keep her quiet, right before an election. Put this down as the number two impeachment charge against Donald Trump.

The Congress could also point out the numerous times there have been abuses of power by Donald J Trump, including his efforts to subvert the Constitution in the use of Congressionally designated funds to build a wall that has not been approved by Congress.

Also, the Congress could charge him with several obstructions of justice. About ten were pin-pointed by Robert Mueller in his report.

On top of all that, the Congress could charge him with conspiracy to defraud the US Government by his lying about building a Trump Tower in Moscow and using hacked information from the Russians against his political opponent.

I think that is sufficient knowledge to impeach. The emoluments violations, the campaign finance violations with Stormy Daniels, the numerous attempts of abuse of power, the several instances of obstruction of justice, and conspiracy against the United States of America.

Is that not enough?

Chaos, Confusion, and Control

If you want to create chaos and confusion, don't just rob one bank. Rob a hundred banks. Overwhelm their means to keep order and rule of law. Challenge the laws and those that are appointed to oversee them. Keep them off balance. When they are investigating one "big" crime, commit another crime that is even bigger. Degrade their enforcement agencies. Rules are made for "losers". Stay active with daily doses of propaganda.

Divide and conquer. Above all, divide and conquer. Find the differences and the weaknesses in a society and exploit them. Create political tribes. It's a means to an end. But what is the end?

I think people need to come together to defend this country. Democrats and Republicans must unite behind a common cause of protecting this country. It is something larger than Party.

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.

I think the only question left is: When do they impeach?

Personally, I think it will be sometime around the middle of May of next year?

By then, they will have had time to subpoena everyone they want and the White House will have had time to snub them on every witness requested.

Since it in the heat of the election, it will be the perfect time, contrary to what many may think?

This will give the House almost 6 months up to the election. The evidence and the reporting of the impeachment will steal the daily narrative from Donald Trump. What is he to do? Tweet that he is not guilty of paying off porn stars? They will whine and complain about it, but there is not a damn thing they will be able to do about it. Those that are running the impeachment will be in the driver's seat. Trump and the Republicans will be on the defense.

If, for some reason, the Republicans are able to stall the gathering of evidence or interfere with the witnesses, the impeachment process would continue in January of 2021, if Trump is able to steal another election? If he loses, then the impeachment obviously will not happen, but the evidence will have been laid out for the purpose of history and the security of the United States of America.
