Democrats are slicing up the Durham Report into small pieces...

In the hearing that is presently going on that is on several news channels, the Republicans seem to be getting what they wished for?

It is being exposed as a big old "Nothing Burger".

They got him to admit that he did not investigate any of the facts about the meeting of the Trumps with the Russians at Trump Tower or Paul Manafort's giving campaign info to a Russian spy.

He seemed to have dismissed all the information that the Mueller team had gathered and was only investigating any negative information about Donald Trump and the Russians.

The Republicans will be happy when the hearing is over.

Mark Meadows absconded with "the Russian files" the night before Trump left the White House?

What were the "Russian files"? Were they really "Russian files" or just a name give them by insiders at the White House?

If they were "de-classified", why can we not see them? What information was in them that Trump wanted Meadows to get for him?

Did Meadows keep copies of the "Russian files"?

Where are the files right now?

Trump's lies will not work in a courtroom.

He will not be able to lie and talk over everyone, until he can change the subject. His "whataboutism" will be worthless.

"I never had time to go thru all the boxes" will not sell to a jury.

The Presidential Records Act does not pertain to the crimes he committed, although he has been repeating it over and over, in hopes of making people believe he truly believed he was covered by the PRA. There was no hidden intent.

However, "I had the right to take the documents" will not be found in the Presidential Records Act or in the Espionage Act.

His only hope may be a hung jury?

Trump looked like a cornered rat on FOX last night.

Someone had taken away the cheese.

He rambled incoherently, as Brit Hume noted, and lied and made excuses for all his past unlawfulness.

No doubt, we will see the video again when his trial begins.

There will be no joy in Mudville. Mighty Casey has struck out.

How do you put a former president in jail without causing a violent reaction?

Especially if many of that former president's supporters are prone to violence?

Are these questions we will likely hear in the near future?

How do you educate a cult that worships their Leader and is willing to overlook all crimes and misdemeanors, including an attempted coup to overthrow an election and stealing national secrets, consisting of the location of nuclear weapons and the places where our defense is the most vulnerable?

Is it even important what the cult might think? Aren't they a big part of the problem, even if they are not charged criminally?

But the education is coming. Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. Don't use weak-minded followers to attack our democracy and the rest of the American people. Justice cannot make exceptions for criminals at the highest levels of government.

It will not be easy. But it must be done.

Is FOX transitioning?

Are they being ordered to change the way they have been reporting on Trump?

Or are they doing it because their conscience is telling them it is the right thing to do?

Did Trump request to be on the show? Or was he invited? The former or the latter?

Whether it is a temporary malfunction or a real change?

Part II tomorrow night. (Almost sounds like a ratings experiment)

The interview by Bret Baier, followed by the comments from Brit Hume, seemed to be part of a new strategy that FOX is experimenting with?

If Trump loses FOX, he loses everything.

Just because President Biden wants to maintain silence on the Trump indictment...?

Does that mean the rest of the Party should follow his lead?

Even as the Republicans are ranting and raving 24/7 about how it is a political witch hunt. How they blame Biden for the Jack Smith investigation.

Should Democrats be a little more vocal in what is really happening with Mr Trump and why?

With his alleged crimes, there was no way for the Justice Department not to act.

How could they remain silent and do nothing in the face of espionage charges and attacking our nation's Capitol with violent militia types?

It may be right for President Biden to remain silent but other Democrats should not let their distortions and lies go unanswered, in my opinion.

A list of all the "great" things that Trump accomplished while in the White House:

He gave a $2 Trillion dollars tax cut to himself and his wealthiest friends. At least, most of it went to them. It stimulated the economy, to some degree, I suppose?

He was going to build a wall across the Mexican border, and get the Mexicans to pay for it, but it didn't happen. It never fixed the immigration problem. It was mostly a money-making scam for people like Steve Bannon.

He tried to tear NATO apart at the benefit of Putin and Russia. He bad-mouthed our Allies and was always complimentary of Putin.

He divided our own country into "his side" and "other side". He developed a cult-like following that still follows him today.

For the first time in our history, he made friends with all our enemies, the dictators of the world, like Kim Jung Un and Erdogan of Turkey, the Saudis, Putin, and others. He even wrote "love letters" to the North Korean dictator.

He stuffed his own pockets, and his family's pockets, with money from personal money deals with people that were not friends of our country.

He planned and organized a coup to overthrow the elected government and to declare himself the winner of the 2020 election. He sat by and did nothing as our Capitol was violently attacked.

Then, as he was being forced out of the door, he stole the most secret documents that were in the possession of our government. Then he lied about them.

That is just a short list of his greatest "accomplishments". Perhaps you can think of more?

It is up to a jury to decide...

It is not up to Trump supporters.

It is not up to Democrats.

If there is a jury trial, we will not know if they are Democrats or Republicans or Independents or Socialists? They will take an oath to render the most fair decision they are capable of rendering.

That's the way our system works. They may find the defendant guilty or not guilty, according to the crimes that are charged.

We can all debate, talk, and give our opinions, but in the end, it will be a jury that makes the final decision.

Even then, if there is a guilty verdict, the defendant would have the right to appeal, is that not correct?

June 18, 2023

What Jack knows that you don't?

He could be holding on to the smoking gun, just waiting for the trial? We don't know.

But you can rest assured that he did not put all the evidence into the indictment.

Nothing scares Trump more than a jury of his peers. He knows the truth is the only enemy that can defeat him.

Without the truth, he could use his lies and powers of persuasion to remain free forever.

He is a desperate man, fighting for his life. He may laugh and joke and call people funny names, but he is a scared man. Very scared.
