If Russia attacked our election system, why are we investigating the investigators?

Did we not want the investigators to investigate the attack upon our democracy?

Did we not want them to investigate any Americans involved or colluding with the Russians, wittingly or unwittingly? People like Paul Manafort.

What were the other options?

It all seems so subterranean. Are they saying that the investigators should not have done their job and now should be investigated themselves? What kind of distraction of reality is that?

Unless, of course, they do not believe our election system was attacked by the Russians in the election of 2016? Then, they would believe that it was a "hoax" or a "witch hunt", just as Donald says?

All of our intelligence agencies say that we were attacked. Vladimir Putin denies it. Donald Trump believes Vladimir Putin. Who do they believe?

Why else would we need investigators to investigate the investigators??

It seems like a "hoax"? "We" vs "Them"?

It seems planned to delay any case before the Courts until after the next election. It's a criminal plan in full display. Obstruction in technicolor.

It would be a shame if the Democrats interrupted Trump Party plans with an impeachment proceeding. If there is one thing that Donald Trump knows, it is, how to keep the court system busy.

Perhaps we should get the IG (Inspector General) to investigate the matter?

Then we would have an Investigator investigating the investigators that are investigating the initial investigators?

Contrary to what many fear about impeachment...

It would not increase the turnout for the Trumpsters and it would not decrease the turnout of the Democrats. In my opinion, it would be the exact opposite.

The secret is to get out as much facts and information as possible before the election. Trump wants people to believe it was all lies about him, that there was a coup against him. He is a certified paranoid kook who has lied more than 10,000 times, How foolish to believe such a liar!

There is nothing they can say or do to increase their turnout once the facts come out in an impeachment proceeding. There is a possibility that it could be a political massacre. There is no win for them.

The Democrats would take the US Senate by a large margin. The fears of a Democratic defeat because of impeachment are totally unfounded and
are not realistic. It is nothing but fear feeding upon itself.

Do not fear impeachment. It is a political goldmine for the Democrats, if they decide to take that route.

To compare it to the Clinton impeachment is a mistake. They are as
different as night and day.

The key to winning with impeachment is to keep feeding them the facts,
whether they like them or not. Denial is their problem, not ours.

Still puzzling questions about Trump/Russia collaboration

We learned that Trump was negotiating with the Russians to build a Trump Tower in Moscow right up to election day. Perhaps it went on even longer?

There was the sudden shutdown of a server in Trump Tower which was found to have been communicating with Alfa Bank in Russia? What were they communicating about?

Why did Trump bring up the name of Carter Page when asked about his foreign policy team? Where did he learn about Carter Page?

Who was Erik Prince representing when he met with the Russian in the Seychelles? What were they discussing?

Very early on, Jared Kushner was attempting to set uo a secret channel with the Russians, and run it out of the Russian Embassy, hidden from all
American intelligence? What was the purpose?

Trump refused to criticize Vladimir Putin for any reason? Why?

I think maybe we do need another investigation to discover the origins of the Trump/Russia romance?

"OJ" Trump

He's gonna find out why the FBI was investigating those Russians and why his campaign was involved with Russians?

He's gonna find out why the Republican leaders forced him to fire General Flynn for talking to the Russians and lying about it, even before his Administration was sworn into office?

He's gonna find out why he hired Paul Manafort as his campaign manager and why he was working with the Russians?

Why did they suspect him? The gloves were too large for his hands, it was obvious.

Why would the FBI spy on his campaign?

He's gonna get to the bottom of it.

A suggestion :

Many Democrats resent the right-wingers saying "Democrat Party" instead of "Democratic Party".

I do not think it is appropriate to call them the "Republican Party" anymore. They surrendered everything they once believed in as Republicans, or professed to believe in.

They are now part of the "Trump Party".

From here forward, we should stop calling them the Republican Party and call them the "Trump Party".

It suits them better.

What are the Democrats waiting for?

Why don't they just go ahead and officially declare an impeachment process started? Would that not give them the witnesses and documents they need to conduct meaningful oversight?

Or would it be better to go thru with the requests, subpoenas, and court summons, to exhaust all options, before going to impeachment?

Once it goes to the courts, should the Democrats push for expedited movement and decisions? They would be justified in doing so, in my opinion.

But, as soon as they go to court, they should start the impeachment proceedings.

No President would ever want to be impeached.

It would not be normal.

Yet, we are warned to not fall into the Trump Republican trap, to not impeach because it would be good for Trump Republicans and bad for Democrats?

Which do you believe?

Two factors affecting Trump's "great" economy

First, it is the huge number of Baby-boomers that are retiring. Almost 10,000 per week were retiring at the end of last year. Who is going to replace these workers?

Also, there is much discussion about the wages going up the most in a long time. One factor that might affect this is the numerous states that have increased their minimum wage to $15 per hour. About 40% of American workers were making less than $15 per hour.
