I have Windows 10 and this morning, when I turned on my computer, there it was. The message says, "your device ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you."

Should I just do nothing and wait?

Has anyone ever had a fraudulent charge on their credit card? Was it resolved?

Out of the blue comes a four-digit charge on my account-- I am told it will take a couple of days for them to research it. I asked if they can nail the thieves who tried to rip me off, but the agent was vague.

I don't think I even have NerdWallet-- is this a scam? Or should I take it seriously?
