Thought you would like this

While talking to a local farmer today who had just plowed under his crop, he said, "Well, the way I see it, Donald Trump is like a post tortoise." Not being familiar with the term, I asked, what's a post tortoise?
He replied, "When you're driving down a country road and come across a tortoise balanced on top of a fence post, that's a post tortoise."
Looking at the puzzled look on my face, he said "You know the turtle didn't get there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he is up there, he's elevated way above his ability to function and you just can't stop wondering what kind of dumb a-holes would put him up there."

Trump and the Judge

IMHO Once he attacks the Judge, The Judge should say "Bailiff, remove this man from the court room. Once he is removed and he continues yelling, the Judge should tell the Bailiff to place him in a Holding Cell and when he continues the yelling and making threats, the Judge should tell the Bailiff to call for the Barber if he makes another sound. The Silence is so loud.

A beautiful red headed girl

I was stationed at Minot AFB in North Dakota in 1961. Young Airmen were pretty popular with all the school girls in Minot. I was always looking at them but didn't know what to say to them I was so shy. While out walking one Thanksgiving, a the most beautiful redheaded girl I had ever seen, asked me to come in and she would make me a turkey sandwich. She said her parents had gone to visit their grandmother. When I went in, her young brother was sick and had to throw up so I held his head up while he vomited and I paid more attention to him than I did her but that seemed OK with her and I got a few wet kisses before I hitch hiked back to the base. Next, I met her parents and fixed a lot of stuff in the house and I got along good wiith them too. The snow was so bad they had me sleep in a spare room rather than trying to get back to the base. Months later I asked for permission to marry their daughter and they approved.
After 20 years on Active Duty, life just got better if that was possible. We moved several times suring that career and our favorite was Ramey AFB in Puerto Rico. On September of this year, we celebrated 60 years of marriage. She is an incredibe woman and we raised our daughter and two sons that we are proud of. I am an active 82 years old and I consider myself to be the luckiest man alive.

This is what I want to see when the dust settles and Trump has his first day in prison

Hopefully, someone will take a video of Trump getting his "prison haircut" and it will get leaked.

Three years ago, I was told by my Dr. that I had Alzheimer's.

I had mentioned that sometimes I would forget what I am looking for in my shop. I knew I did not have Alzheimer's. I knew that was wrong because I was a nursing assistant (CNA) and had cared for Alzheimer's patients for many years. My last patient had the disease and we had many good visits before his passing earlier this year.
At 81, I decided to give up Hospice and spend more time with my wife and animals.
A year and half later I was surprised at my doctors office when I was given an unexpected test and I admit I probably failed it badly. The diagnosis was dementia. I didn't argue because I still have problems finding tools in my shop. I had restored many classic cars over the years and have a massive amount of tools.
I also wrote a book, "Yesterday is Tomorrow", which was published late last year. I have even seen copies on eBay. When I saw my Dr. recently, I handed him the book and told him it had just been published. He read a couple pf pages and said "You may not have dementia". I told him about a new blood test that determine if you have Alzheimer's and I had taken it. Two weeks later I got the results which were negative for Alzheimer.
So, I have accepted that I have Dementia but enjoy life by staying busy every day.
I thought I would post this here because it might be helpful for anyone dealing with a loved one or perhaps themselves.

Hoping someone on here can help me find this short video.

Two or three years ago, I saw a video of a modern office.
There was a gun shot and everyone quickly left the office. Then it showed the would-be shooter with a weapon from the times of the revolution trying to reload a musket with a ramrod.

How to stop police officers from turning off their cameras

-Officers leaving the office for duty should be required to leave through one door only.

-Cameras are automatically turned on as they pass through that door and cannot be turned off by officers until they return.

-Any sign that they have covered the badges during their tour of duty would require an investigation and they could be fired.

-It will cost to set this up but something has to be done.

When Jimmy Carter was running for president, he stopped to give a speech at Warner Robins GA.

My parents were visiting at the time and my Dad was a strong democrat so I took him to hear his speech. Afterwards, he walked through the crowd and my Dad stuck out his hand and Jimmie shook his hand. On the way back to my house, Dad said "I am never going to wash this hand again."
