I know it is beyond wishful thinking, but Kate O’Beirne's execrable comments

regarding school breakfast/lunch assistance programs, and the parents who utilize them, really was the final defining moment for me regarding the Right-wing noise machine.

Yeah, I've despised Limbaugh, Palin, Coulter, Malkin, Ingraham, et.al., ad nauseum, because of their hate-filled bile, and I refuse to listen to their verbal projectile vomiting.

But O'Bierne's (and Limbaugh's) comments on a program designed to assist the most vulnerable of our society, and the base upon which our society's future health rests, just put it into a new dimension for me.

What INFLUENCE these poisoners have to shape public attitudes toward support of any given socio-economic program this nation could develop, and they choose the worst of the possible. Think of what they could really accomplish for the health, the real value of this nation, if they would simply drop the poisonous class/race/political baiting, and work toward providing real, useful, clarifying info, and proposing real solutions.

I understand that there is room for legitimate disagreement among people regarding how best to move the nation and our people forward, but these spiritual descendent's of the Goebbels', Streicher's, and Rwandan RTLM Radio aren't in the least patriotic, in the sense of a real concern for the best interests of the American people, or humanity in general.

I realize I'm preaching to the choir, but I just felt the need to let off some steam. These people truly disgust me.

7. i'll add that *their* kind of poison is pretty much ubiquitous in american political discourse --

but watch their reaction when people give it back to them in "the rich are criminals and murderers" type talk.
