Daryl Hall started Live From Daryl's House, the free monthly web show in late 2007, after having the idea of "playing with my friends and putting it up on the Internet," and the show has since garnered acclaim from Rolling Stone, SPIN, Daily Variety, CNN, BBC, Yahoo! Music and influential blogged Bob Lefsetz, who cited Live From Daryl's House as a perfect example of a veteran artist reinventing himself in the digital age by collaborating with both established colleagues and newer performers.

1. I'm really going to miss this. Some truly amazing shows came from this. Glad I have 'em PC saved.
I just don't think his heart was in it after T-Bone was gone.

3. I kinda thought that, also. He has Lyme's disease too...a bad case of it
seems he got it shortly after buying "Darryl's House" in Hudson Valley.

I will miss that show. Loved it..and gave me some new folks to listen to...and the foodie stuff in between was much fun.

I feel very sad that I won't have it to go to, anymore....:-(

I just rewatched one of my favorite shows, where I discovered Eli 'Paper Boy' Reed, so cool.

Will we ever have top of the charts music like this again? I think not, now that even that industry was corporatized to manufacture 'talent'.

Sigh.............
