27. Yeah, that's the direction I was headed in as well.
I'm not yet sure it's *ALL* of them, but it sure
is *A LOT* of them. The governments, the wealthy,
and the corporations are not acting in the best
interest of about 99.99% of us.

2. I don't know about equally, but all.
And on the political front, the RW is hitting on so many areas that our focus on only one or some would be foolhardy.

3. The nuke thing could easily get way out of hand...
Making everything else insignificant.

One reactor is either in danger of a melt down, or is already well on its way... I don't trust the news coming to us. If one goes, it could cause a chain reaction and the other five could go... and if we have six go... ugh... my mind won't let me go there.

22. I think the NFL lockout is informative of both the economy and anti-union stuff
You read some of the stuff the owners have said in public and it is clear how poorly the ultra wealthy look at the rest of Americans. They say stuff that they think is translating down to you, but it really comes off a belittling and hateful. Its a real eye opener to how insulated that class of people are to the pain the average American is facing.

NFL Lockout Threatens Chicken Wing Business

http://abcnews.go.com/US/conversation-nfl-lockout-threatens-chicken-wing-business/story?id=13158374

And while all game days are big business for wings, the "absolute peak," Sanderson said, comes on Super Bowl Sunday. According to the National Chicken Council, more than 1.25 billion wings were consumed during last Super Bowl weekend.

7. I'd say fix the economy - not just get people working, but change
the energy supply and income inequity - and you've addressed most of those problems with the exception of the earthquake.

10. Election reform.

Ensuring that every eligible adult gets the opportunity to
vote and ensuring that all votes are tabulated correctly.

Florida 2000 was a farce, and no one has gone to jail yet.

For shame.

Every one of those issues can be traced to Capitalism's door.

17. Right Wing Assault On People!
The MOST Important issue of today is the assault of the right wing on the rights of people.

The right wing is taking away rights all over the place.

The right wing MUST be stopped.

18. Did you mean NOV 2012 elections?
Either way...prolly all of the above.

In the short run I'd say Economy has real everyday effects on people but don't want that to be misconstrued as being in favor deficit reduction-which I am not in favor of, but do think if one were to bring that up in conversation could be mistaken as such.

O and polluting our planet pursuing dirty energy...not a good idea in the long run.

Along with both major political parties.

Add in the utter dominance of our media.

Or as stated above, it is the capitalism.

31. For the planet??? Most of those are domestic US issues that don't much affect the rest of the world
the economy possibly but it's not bad all over the planet (the US and Europe, yes, but, the US and Europe are not the world). The most important issue of today is the need for developed countries to transition to alternative energy sources to mitigate the effects first of climate change from carbon emissions and second of economic stagnation and contraction due to supply constraints of oil and other fossil fuels.
