Microsoft sues Barnes & Noble over Android-based Nook e-reader

Microsoft today sued Barnes & Noble and manufacturers Foxconn and Inventec over their Nook e-readers and tablets, alleging the devices infringe Microsoft patents.

The lawsuit continues recent action in the technology industry against manufacturers of gadgets running Google�s Android operating system. Microsoft said the patents in question involve touch-screen navigation and browser-based Web surfing.

8. This is bullshit.

My guess is they are jealous and are suing a lot of android-based tablet producers right now but they are going to lose.

BTW, I have a regular Nook and my sister has the Nook Color and we're pretty happy w/them (both un-hacked).
