1. Maybe its the "super moon" coming into play. nt

4. Cobb had a 3.+ earthquake already this afternoon so it is a little active

but probably perfectly normal.

12. I went through the USGS data not to long ago...

Looking for trends regarding the recent quakes, and I must confess, I found f**k nothing. When the scientists say they can't predict quakes I don't blame them at all. Its one of the most chaotic systems I have seen.

also your list had quakes from parts of California 400 miles apart.

not exactly a pattern with that, especially since you only showed 3 quakes.

8. I was in an elevator on the 8th floor of the UCLA Med Tower for the

biggest aftershock after the northridge quake...and grew up in Alaska. So I've ridden out a few shakers. I was just looking at the USGS website when these popped up so I thought I would share.

Geyser and Cobb sure have been hit by swarms of little quakes lately. It is an interesting map to look at though.

10. lol...yeah...that was a pretty scary one! They had already condemned the building

and the elevators just shut off and bounced there in the groaning structure for a few minutes. YIKES!!! Just sitting there bouncing and hearing that rumble come up through the elevator shaft.

11. My brother was in Northridge and I was in the East Bay for Loma Prieta.

It's just California.
