For years, nuclear 'experts' said the chance of a meltdown was so remote, 'impossible' was a better
word to describe it.

Now, here we are, on the cusp of one of the worst nuclear impossibilities which is one of TWO nuclear meltdowns in the space of 25 years.

If that's how you define "remote", I want some of what you're smoking.

1. Corporate experts are always saying that there is no chance anything will go wrong.
Corporations and the governments they fund have a vested interest in convincing people to buy their ideas. In fact, corporations are legally required to do so. Once a company goes public and is traded on Wall Street it is legally required to do everything possible to ensure a return on investment to shareholders.

A lot of people don't know this. They think that companies can choose to do the right thing. They can't. It's illegal for a company to do anything that would hurt profits. They are always trying to tell us that they do the right thing anyway, and that doing the right thing means better profits. Don't believe them.

8. Right - they are all perfect, flawless - until they aren't.
And oh, by the way, the food chain will be destroyed, thousands will die - but since it won't ever happen, don't worry about it. :sarcasm:

3. I will never trust craporate crapitalists or their paid mouthpieces
They will always place profit, expediency, and savings over health, the environment, and safety.

7. If Charlie Sheen had his own dictionary, a nuclear meltdown would be "winning"'s illustration.
That must be what Alexander means.
