Girl throws acid at face of another girl in Brooklyn HS

A simmering feud between two Brooklyn high schoolers exploded when one of the girls tried to blind her helpless frenemy with acid, authorities said Thursday.

Zhanna Smsarian, 16, admits she wanted "to burn the eyes out" of honor student Albina Eshimbaeva when she snuck up from behind with a bottle of acid in their Wednesday morning chemistry class, cops said.

Eshimbaeva, 15, told the Daily News last night that she had a feeling Smsarian was gunning for her the day of the attack inside Fort Hamilton High School.

Smsarian "was standing against a wall staring at me in an evil way," the victim said. "She was smiling, but it was evil.

"I knew something bad was coming, but didn't know what it was. Two seconds later, I felt the liquid falling down my bangs."

2. this needs to be cut in the bud

they just had a man blinded in new orleans, a 19 year old boy, so that the scumbag could steal his fucking PIZZA

we need to execute people or somehow otherwise deal w. this quickly and harshly because if you take someone's sight, it's more than ruining their life, you also ruin the life of their family since they now have a helpless young person who must be supported for decades

and don't give me stories about wondercrip, if you just had somebody throw acid on your face and burn off your eyes and face, you are not in the mood to be a fucking hero nor should be you required to be a fucking hero -- the reality is, you can't do the things you enjoy, you can't do a job, and you have become a burden to your family, multiple people are ruined by this evil action

the people who do this should not be allowed to remain on the same planet with the rest of us end of sentence period

if you hate someone, have the gonads to pick up a gun and kill them, don't go cheap and throw acid on them and blind them and spoil their whole life and create decades of suffering not just for them but for their entire family

the acid attacker is already free on bond, that sends a great message

you can deface your enemy, blind her, scar her, spoil her life for ever, and 3 hours later you're out on bond because she's still alive even though her life is no longer anything anyone would ever want to live -- this cannot stand or we'll have more and more of such attacks

3. Let the punishment fit the crime

Hot irons to the face, then. Let the perpetrator carry the same burden as the victim.

Executions should be reserved for truly heinous things ... such as serial murder, or lying before Congress so that the nation may be seduced into fighting an unjust series of wars.
