America Incorporated governed by the Supreme Board of Directors. Think of what living your life by the rules and dictates of corporate monoculture would be like because it is rather close to the finish line here.
Think of nothing but private prisons that end-up determining the laws so that the statistics will keep them full and profitable into perpetuity. Imagine the fear of being easily entrapped by this predatory profit system and worrying about your children, friends and relatives. Then the call comes and you know there's a long, financial and emotional nightmare ahead.
Consider a corporately owned and run education, (training) system from Kindergarten to College where students are statistically molded to the needs of the dominant business culture, which, for most, (and excluding the premium education of the Ruling Class kids) will be the equivalent of a lobotomy. Mood and behavior drugs will be an integral part of the program and chipping and tracking will be the norm. People will become nothing but a controlled resource that exist for nothing but profit.
Imagine a world where there are no rights at all for workers and existence, for everyone but the elite, will be a matter of subsistence and rationed goods, yet all institutions for learning and the media will enforce the drug-induced notion that it everything is wonderful and people are fortunate in being able to serve the system and enjoy the fruits of corporate beneficence. Praise and thanks will always be due daily and new cultural rituals will reinforce a docile compliance, along with record-breaking, profitable pharmaceuticals to make it all seem normal and to induce apathy and cooperation.
Every aspect of the culture will become more dumbed-down and monotonous as a wave of McSameness does for everyday life what McDonald's did for fast food. People will be tracked and monitored from cradle to grave and eventually, even purchasing choices and food amounts and quality will diminish just to the point where the maximum profits will be gained for the small percentage of those who literally take ownership of the entire planet, all of its resources and goods, as well as its people who will merely be allowed to rent their continued existence through hard work and compliance to a ubiquitous and inescapable system.
Of course, one could right an entire book detailing the potential outcome of total, corporate rule without checks or balances. The big question would be just how long that could continue considering the destructive impact profit-based reality has on the environment. Well, with the kind of total control and awareness we are talking about, that impact could shift via austerity to the workers and various ways of culling the population and its soon to be permanent Underclasses.
