1. That's why they should be simply kicked out of school and not educated
If you let bullies become educated they become more powerful: corporate CEO's, Wall Street bankers, etc.

Don't let bullies get an education. Then they eventually end up in prison. Problem solved.

2. Not every bully remains one.
I REALLY don't like bullying. And I assume a lot of bullies are lifers.

But a few years back I was shocked to learn that a mild mannered colleague was a self-admitted bully when younger.

I won't defend bullies. But I do applaud those reformed.

5. Prolly was a mild bully as opposed to the serial Bully....Reformed bullys are mostly long term
patients of experts...some as long as 10 years or more.

8. You may have a point.

The guy I'm referring to is a REALLY nice person. Perhaps he wasn't much of a bully but self-identified as such as a form of penance.

6. I don't know that I agree completely

I think there are plenty of "adult bullies", and in my world I'm thinking specifically of certain cops, that were not bullies as kids, but were guys that never thought they got enough "respect" and are now going to make sure they are paid attention to and respected. I think human development is too complicated to paint with a broad brush in either direction.

7. In Aldous Huxley novel 'Island' they were given LSD
and sent to work in the forests..

Well, maybe you need to read the novel to really understand
the reasoning of it.
